“I would highly recommend Richardson and Starling for their trustworthiness, professionalism and efficiency. I dealt with Clarke Elsby, Senior Surveyor who came out to look at my property. He was extremely helpful and pleasant and listened to all my concerns. I immediately felt at ease talking to him. I had been quite apprehensive about the survey but dealing with such a friendly person made me more relaxed and not worry so much. He gave me lots of helpful advice. I felt I was in reliable hands. Thank you again for all your help and time.”

“Richardson and Starling attended our property to carry out a survey of suspected damp. We had just moved into the property and had noticed patches of damp and a smell and were concerned that there was potentially a problem. The surveyor attended at the agreed time and thoroughly checked the property, before confirming us the good news that it wasn't a damp but just mould caused by condensation. He provided advise on how to deal with this and to prevent it, but there was no cost for this survey and no unnecessary work was required. It is great to find a company who provide honest, reliable advise and don't just complete unnecessary work that isn't required. We would recommend Richardson and Starling.”

“Excellent professional service. Clarke came to my house to inspect potential problem with woodwork around a skylight window. He was prompt, courteous and very efficient and resolved the situation immediately. Highly recommend Richardson & Starling and wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again.”

“Phoned on a Monday morning had a survey carried out on Tuesday all work was completed very quickly. The lads were polite and friendly when they called to fix the problem. They cleaned up everything and left no mess. VERY PROFESSIONAL COMPANY. RECOMMEND”

“Very professional and efficient in carrying out the work at my house, right through from organising to the end result. Was very impressed that they were open and honest and didn’t complete some works that were on their itinerary as they didn’t need to be done, therefore saving me money! Would highly recommend.”

“Answered initial email enquiry promptly. Surveyor, Mr Elsby, arrived on time. He was very professional and conducted a thorough survey of effected area. Fortunately for us he was able to identify cause of dampness as condensation and not rising damp. He explained his findings clearly and suggested a suitable course of remedial action. Would highly recommend.”

“Jim and Ryan were excellent. Even after having to come back on first day because eif an unknown problem with my floor they just got everything done. We're also grwta with my 2 year old running about and asking questions. Great finish on my bathroom.”
