“richardson and starling treated my roof space for woodworm. They cleaned all the debris from previous builders and did a first class job. Have used other property companies in the past, but this firm was certainly value for money. Both polite and courteous.”

“We were very happy with your service to get rid of the outbreak of dry rot in our property. The technicians carried out the work well and were very pleasant. They dealt with it with as little disruption as possible and kept the dust under control as best they could.”

“I am extremely pleased with the service and workmanship in the repairs carried out in my fathers house. All the staff from surveyor, the damp repairer, plasterer to supervisor, checking work after done, were very efficient, helpful and pleasant to deal with. The work was carried out on the day asked for and completed as quickly as possible knowing there was some urgency to do so. I would have no hesitation in recommending the company and their work I would highly recommend them. I also thought the cost of the job required was a very reasonable price.”

“the guy that did the survey was very helpful and informative all the men that carried out the work both the damp proofers and plasterers did a really good job and cleaned up after finishing we are extremely pleased with the work overall dennis & anne cook carlisle”

“Throughout the work I received very professional treatment from your staff and I feel that the work in my property was completed to a high standard and left clean. I would not hesitate to recommend Richard and Starling who I preferred due to Melvin Niven who has worked on other properties for us at a very professional level. “Clark from R&S came out to have a look at my windows. He was punctual, friendly and gave sound advice. Ultimately, I was informed that the service of my window mastic was not something provided by the company, though I was pointed into the right direction. I felt that the service provided for inspection and quoting was great.”

“Richardson and Starling have been brilliant. From the moment I got in touch to book a survey for potential woodworm, through to the treatment itself they have been a pleasure to deal with. James treated the woodworm problem (in the loft, on the hottest day, poor fella!) I couldn't have asked for a more professional chap - pleasant and chatty, but also hardworking, helpful and tidy. This is a great company with really helpful staff - will definitely recommend to anyone.”

“We are extremely happy with the service we have received from Richardson and Starling, Dumfries. We had a woodworm problem which they have treated for us. From the 1st telephone conversation with the receptionist through to the surveyor coming out and then the technician, Mike, everybody has been very friendly, helpful and professional and we would highly recommend them.”

“I would highly recommend Richardson and Starling for their trustworthiness, professionalism and efficiency. I dealt with Clarke Elsby, Senior Surveyor who came out to look at my property. He was extremely helpful and pleasant and listened to all my concerns. I immediately felt at ease talking to him. I had been quite apprehensive about the survey but dealing with such a friendly person made me more relaxed and not worry so much. He gave me lots of helpful advice. I felt I was in reliable hands. Thank you again for all your help and time.”

“Richardson and Starling attended our property to carry out a survey of suspected damp. We had just moved into the property and had noticed patches of damp and a smell and were concerned that there was potentially a problem. The surveyor attended at the agreed time and thoroughly checked the property, before confirming us the good news that it wasn't a damp but just mould caused by condensation. He provided advise on how to deal with this and to prevent it, but there was no cost for this survey and no unnecessary work was required. It is great to find a company who provide honest, reliable advise and don't just complete unnecessary work that isn't required. We would recommend Richardson and Starling.”

“Excellent professional service. Clarke came to my house to inspect potential problem with woodwork around a skylight window. He was prompt, courteous and very efficient and resolved the situation immediately. Highly recommend Richardson & Starling and wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again.”
