“The Retirement Desk consultant was Lisa O'Beirne who took my initial call and dealt with the process in a clear comprehensive manner, advising me of the best possible lifetime return, then accessing my pension fund, processing lump sum payment into my bank account and setting up monthly provision of income. The process took about 12 days during which time Lisa 'phoned 3 times to advise me of progress of the transfer process. The business transaction was carried out in the most effective way and it was satisfying to deal with such a professional organisation.”

“Retirement is a minefield you need someone you can trust fo guide you successfully through it and find the correct plan for your individual requirements. When searching through the internet for that someone we came across the retirement desk. Straight away I felt we had found a company that could help us to make our personal design to meet our requirements. With the personnel attention given given to us by Lisa & Kay. We have found the correct plan to suit our needs . Thoroughly recommend to anyone in the same boat. .”

“It's Almost Like Sin to Grow Old I was a happy old man until I discovered I had an pension scheme with Friend's Life while sorting out old papers. I wrote to Friend's Life and not surprisingly, I got a reply saying that the forgotten scheme has some 50k fund. Then for two years, I suffered unhappiness going forwards and backwards; because this Friend's Life, while staff are nice and courteous, has a set up that almost means I have to go back live in the cold and dump good old England for retirement, for 153 days at least. They do no have any scheme for me to take my pension out! Eventually referred by the citizen advisory, I managed to contact this super efficient lady Ms. Lisa O'Beirne of The Retirement Desk. Within a few weeks she help me to move the pension to Canada Life who has a scheme to pay to those old guys who wish to live in a warmer place.”

“I like to thank Lisa O'Beirne very much for the professional way in which she dealt with my pension option for me. It's refreshing to know that when told that I would be kept informed on a regular basis, Lisa did exactly that by phone calls, and emails. Very often companies say they will provide regular updates but this in my experience appears to be an idle and unfulfilled promise.”
