“STAY AWAY. I have had their coverage for many years, but something recently changed. They tried to get me to sign a waiver after coverage was issued, stating I could not litigate in Hong Kong. I refused. Now they declined some basic outpatient coverage based on stated "pre-existing" conditions. However, as I am a long time client, they were aware of my general health. I actually have no pre-existing conditions. I will likely have to sue them to get the coverage promised.”

“Steer Clear is my best advice to anyone looking for medical insurance. Had to go to hospital after a routine checkup to have a Pacemaker fitted. Claim was rejected in full as I must have already had the heart problem!.. Even though it was asymptomatic they still don't have to pay out! Believe the poor reviews and steer well clear for the health of your finances as well as your health. Now watch for 5 or 6 5 star reviews to appear within the next couple of days!. that should give you an idea!.”

“no issues so far. Been a policy holder for two years and only did one claim and it was ok. They were fast to respond and release the refund”

“RFE has been helpful when I requested a claim a month ago. I just needed to submit my hospital documents and they were able to send my refund after twodays when I requested it.”

“READ THE CHRONIC CONDITIONS EXCLUSION They can literally deny any claim for any ongoing medical treatment as it is "chronic condition". They are based in NEVIS. A volcano island with 11,000 people known for tax evasion and money laundering. Why would they be based there? So you can't do anything about it when they deny your claim. They approve small claims, deny large claims or just stop communicating all together. What are you going to do if they don't return your email? Go to their office? Good luck finding an address. Post fake reviews (notice they are 1 star or 5 star) to drown out the truth. NowCompare is part of it. They cherry pick expensive plans to compare to. Do a comparison yourself with quote from individual reputable companies. It's not any cheaper!!!”

“I never thought that I would be able to file a claim with RFE since I have kept myself in good shape. Unfortunately, I recently had an accident and the hospital was quick to get in touch with Regency and they were able to settle everything smoothly.”

“So far so good with RFE. No complaints as of the moment since they are able to do a quick process wiht the claims, their customer service is always on top of all the necessary paperwork, and they make sure that I get to have the best possible servcie in the hospital that I was admitted at the time.”

“The team are very responsive when it is about sales but when it comes to giving reasons why your claim is not being paid, the team refuse to provide documents, reports and processes. The medical advice given by their team of 'experts' was then found to be so negligent it would have led to paralysis. Regency are by far the worst insurance experience I have ever had and are amateurish. Please beware of this provider. There are plenty others out there that do provide service.”

“I took comprehensive premium as i was getting project to work in Europe. On Xmas morning I went to emergency room due to fatigue which turn to be low blood counts and later hospitalized and diagnosed w mds. They refused to pay any bill ER and hospitalization, stating disease couldn't develope quickly. So how should person know if something is developing inside or not? If i had no symptoms I couldn't possibly know. It appears they are just fraud n money collectors”

“I only have been paying for the last two years of my premium policy and all of a sudden I needed to be confined to the hospital because of an NSTEMI so obviously, i needed to make a claim. I am surprised how regency was able to process everything so quickly and directly settling hospital bills on my behalf.”

“RFE was recommened by a friend who live in cambodia for years. So far, experience in claim request is fast. And make sure they get to give me good service! very good insurance company for expat living out of their homecountry.”

“We signed up for the very best policies you could buy in Malaysia. We paid 14,000 USD. Alot for Malaysia. My partner started having symptoms and pain from hernia 3 months later. His Dr recommends surgery. They denied the surgery and told him To wait until its an emergency. He asked if he had a heart attack would that so be considered pre-existing as heart issues dont just happen. They only want the money an expat can pay and care nothing about a minor surgery which our premiums more than covered by 3 times. The suffering they are inflicting on him is unacceptable. Be ware they dont even work with local hospitals as they state. Total scam. Especially for expats. WE WILL NOT BUY AGAIN AND DO NOT SUGGEST ANY EXPATS DO. NOT A GOOD COMPANY.”

“Regency has always been good at communicating when it comes to updates to the claims I requested (bought a policy in 2018). I did not experience any delays or any mishaps during the process of my claims, which is really good Especially living in a foreign country.”

“I sent a claim for reimbursement from my hospital stay. I am glad they were able to handle everything smoothly and release the reimbursement so quickly. This was my first claim after being a customer with them for two years and I can say that I have no regrets :)”
