About The Red Dog Company:

The Red Dog Company was born out of the quest for well-designed, high-quality, dog beds and accessories.

Our dogs work hard, whether in the field, or exercising the children. When they’re not out and about, the chances are they are in their beds, so it seems only fair to make them as comfortable as possible.

Nick and Chris are field sports enthusiasts, and self-confessed gear obsessives.

“Having spoken to Chris l was assured that Ted our elderly Labmaraner would enjoy and benefit from a large dog mat so l decided to order one as it may help him with his arthritis. The bed was delivered the next morning much to my surprise and after unpacking Ted immediately moved out of his "comfy" whicker basket and took up residence never giving the basket a second look. We are very pleased with the product and thank The Red Dog Company for putting some good old British values back into a much needed market place.”

“Mini schnauzer Sophie doesn’t care if this bed was more expensive than others her humum has bought in the past. She’s not bothered about the extremely good quality that justifies the extra cost,either. She just knows that it’s the comfiest bed ever & refuses to share it with her fur buddies; they can have the old, collapsed beds!”

“I ordered a medium sized bed in tweed and it is lovely. It is very good quality and looks great, it was also important to me that the cover is washable. I contacted the company prior to purchase as I had a question whether it was suitable for a young puppy and received a prompt and helpful response. My order arrived quickly and was well packaged. I am confident that the extra cost vs alternative options was well worth it. Highly recommended - we are now just waiting on our puppy arriving in a week's time!”

“Saw the mats at Burghley Horse Trials and had a good chat with the guys on the stand about the veterinary input into their design. I had an 11 year old dog at the time, who was just starting to show the signs of ageing, and sure enough, 6 months later was diagnosed with nasty arthritis in the front leg. She had a nice bed but it was the type where she had to curl up and I felt it was bad for her joints. Despite being on permanent anti inflammatories, she was getting up in the mornings crippled. It’s only two days since the bed arrived but already we have noticed that she is a lot less lame in the mornings so I am praying my hunch was right. In any event, the beds are beautiful and she deserves the best money can buy in her twilight years. She is happy to stretch out so the old bed, as lovely as it was, has been handed on to a younger four legged friend. I am a Red Dog convert, as I suspected I might be. Thank you, from Lollie the less stiff golden Cocker Spaniel.”

“I wanted to thank The Red Dog Company on behalf of my Irish Setter, Feeling du Clos de la Babille, better known as Fifi. She is 10 years old and has problems with osteoarthritis. She immediately adopted her new beds. She appreciates them very much. And we've reclaimed part of our couch and bed. Thank you very much for that. It was definitely worth the price ;-) The order was very simple and the delivery was fast and in perfect packaging. Congratulations and keep up the good work.”

“The mat is everything I wanted for my big black Lab - huge (plenty of room to stretch out and get comfy) and incredibly supportive (even I don’t sink through to the floor). It’s awesome and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend (oh...and it’s solid enough to be able to vacuum it without the fabric being sucked into the vac...so really really easy to keep looking tidy). Mega impressed!”
