About The Red Dog Company:

The Red Dog Company was born out of the quest for well-designed, high-quality, dog beds and accessories.

Our dogs work hard, whether in the field, or exercising the children. When they’re not out and about, the chances are they are in their beds, so it seems only fair to make them as comfortable as possible.

Nick and Chris are field sports enthusiasts, and self-confessed gear obsessives.

“The dog bed is a great success.very comfortable and looks very smart. My only small criticism is that the white fluffy top cushion sheds its white fluff rather too esily. but maybe this is because it is new. The sales information and delivery etc. were all excelent. However it is very expensive!”

Dear Susan Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are always grateful for feedback from our customers. Please do not worry about the fluff, especially at the beginning with dogs that like to “nest”. Because our toppers are made with 100% wool - the fibres vary slightly in length. This is similar to when a new wool carpet is first laid, you may notice balls of fluff appearing for the first few weeks. This should all calm down after a short while. The toppers are tough, and so you should not see any impact on fleece itself over the longer term. We believe our Dog Beds and Mats, whilst requiring investment to begin with, represent good value for money when compared to cheaper, mainly foreign made alternatives. Our products are built to last using from the best British, and where possible, natural materials, all made in the UK. All the best The Red Dog Company

“Bought an orthopaedic dog mat, and a large green roll mat from the Red Dog Company, and cannot recommend highly enough. Although they are at the pricier end of the market, you very much get what you pay for. I was actually amazed at the fantastic quality of these items. Extremely well made, with the highest quality materials. The wool elements are so luxurious that my partner and I are both quite jealous of our dog’s sleeping arrangements now! We plan to get the dog bed next, and I can say that I will only be using this company in future for my dog’s bedding needs. My dog has arthritis so it’s really important to me that she gets a comfortable sleep. This bedding made an immediate and quite drastic improvement in her quality of life. She was limping before this bedding, and isn’t now. Clearly super comfortable, and the best place to get dog bedding by a million miles imo.”

“My new Briard puppy needed a travelling mat, but I also wanted one that would look equally great at home when she just flops out on the floor or sofa so it does double duty nicely. Although a Briard will be a very large sheep dog the medium size works quite well if you have limited space. Great quality and well made. I might eventually get another one in green.”
