“After completing the questions, I was given lots of very good quotes. However, when contacted by each company and answering the same questions, my quotes doubled in price. Therefore, this seemed a complete waste of my time. My quotes were in the region of £600-£700 for a 3 bed house. But, you speak to these companies and explain what you have in your house (which in our case was minimal as we do not have a coffee table and not taking any white goods) and the quote then turns into £1500. All of the companies quoted are the dearest quotes we've received and yet started off as the lowest. One guy even asked if we had a garden hose.....seriously!”

Hi there, If the price changed with multiple companies, it suggests there was a key factor that all of them identified that impacted the price. Quotes can be impacted by contents, accessibility to the property, extra services required etc. We will look into this further if you believe that none of these elements apply to the price increase. “needed a surveyor got a couple of quotes instantly compared them to a quote from a surveyop round the corner, reallymoving quotes were more reasonable engaged the cheapest quote job will be done within 3 days Very pleased. [”

“Got 3.5 quotations, but one of the quotation is 3times of the estimated price. One of the companies can provide only half service, not full service.”

“We asked for the names for a few surveyors. One rang and seemed good, and his reviews too. Unable to use his services this time, as the house we were chasing ws found to be in a flood zone, so we backed out. In a different area-another surveyor emailed us with a quote. We are keeping his name on file also.”

“We performed an internet search for companies to conduct a Homebuyer's survey of a property we were purchasing. We put our details into Reallymoving.com and within 24 hours we obtained several quotes from regulated companies offering to do the survey for us. We chose one and contacted them and the survey was completed within another 24 hours. To our minds, that is an awesome result!”
