The experience was incredible and I made so many friends and made some amazing memories. One week was not enough and I wish I had stayed longer. I would recommend booking flights independently as I unfortunately had to miss the last night of the trip due to my flight being booked so early in the morning. I would also recommend arriving a day early for the trip and leaving a day late as it would allow you to acclimatize to the temperature and also the time zone. I would recommend anybody to go on the trip and work with these incredible elephants.

Loved the tour, Kent was such a cool dude and really knew his stuff when it came to the country and the people and stuff. I loved the tours of the rice paddies and the coffee plantation, that sort of thing is right up my street. My only criticism is that some of the restaurant choices were not fantastic, but apart from that the rest of the tour was fantastic.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review Josh and we're pleased to hear you had a great time on the trip (we love Kent too!). Thanks for the feedback on the restaurant choices, we shall ensure we pass this onto the in-country team to look into. Hope to have you travel with us again in the future :)

The highlight of the trip for me was definitely the voluntary work, this week we had the opportunity to get stuck into working with the family and have a full day of keeping busy.

Definitely the lifelong friends I met whilst out there! The volunteering and Angkor Wat. The drunken nights out with the crew! And of course our tour leaders Annette and Dimong, they were fantastic and the trip wouldn't have been the same without them!

Re-learning how to ride a bike in the amazing scenery in Mai Chau was something I'll never forget, and waking up to see sunrise at Ha Long Bay from my cabin on the boat! Not to mention the kayaking, taking quad bikes over the white sand dunes at Mui Ne, basically the whole trip was a highlight. Arron and Jane worked so hard to make sure we all had an amazing time and it really paid off! Tip 1: do this trip. Tip 2: do this trip. Tip 3: seriously do this trip

The trip was packed so full of amazing things that it truly is hard to pinpoint!! Obviously Angkor Wat was mind blowing in itself but to have our local rep Dimong as a really good tour guide made it even better. Even though it was a little harrowing the genocide museum and S21 was fascinating. Everything in Siam Reap was brilliant (I would happily live there) and naturally the New Hope volunteering was one of the most rewarding things I have ever done in my life. Every day was a new adventure and there was never a dull moment.

The best highlights for me would be the life long friends you make along your journey and travelling the east coast in a camper van! Its one amazing way to plan your own schedual and incorporate the things that interest you most! Surf camp australia, Fraser island, and the whitsundays are definitely a must on your adventure to oz!

Visiting the islands, in particular Koh Samui which was lovely. Also the day trip to Ang Thong Marine Park that included kayaking and snorkeling which happened to be scheduled on my birthday and made for a memorable day. The additional trip to Koh Tao which we were able to do was great and being able to spend time at Nang Yuan Island was incredible

It is extremely difficult to focus on a particular highlight of what was an all round fantastic and enriching trip. However, the time spent in Siem Reap was so wonderful, in thanks in no small part to Annette Beauvoir's excellent knowledge of great spots to visit in the town. Of course, visiting the famed temple sites and Angkor Wat was truly awe inspiring. Never before have I felt as transported to another time. The experience was bolstered by the rich and informed narrative provided by our guide, Dimong Pech. He was the perfect accessory for the trip.

This was our first time in Vietnam, -couldn't have asked for better tour guides! Both Jane and Arron felt like friends to us by the end of the trip! Always around and willing to help us with anything, kept everything super organised and fun too - we always knew what was going on. There was a good mix of cities/activities and free time at the beach which was nice, and we were with a great group of people :) favourite day was the bike tour in hoi an

The main highlights for me was meeting all the different people, this ranged from fellow volunteers, people who worked within the organisation, the locals and even other travellers. Along with this I enjoyed finding out about their culture and the way that they live and survive compared to in the UK.
