Go to India with an open mind. Don't be afraid to travel alone. Pack as little as possible.

Highlight of the trip was halong bay because you see pictures of the bay but it's 10x better being there. I also liked nahtrang because the beach and the view from the beach was amazing. Another highlight of my trip was hoi an, this was because it was such a pictures city and it was a good experience having tailor made suit designed. Our tour guide was also exceptional. He went above and beyond his duitys as our tour guide, he also assisted us with a amazing trip to Sapa. He also offered his assistance after the tour if an when any problems arise after the tour. Which unfortunately occurred. We messaged out tour guide and within 15 minutes he called us to help us out. Such an grate help. Our tour guide was called trung, grate guy. His food choices was also exceptional.

Washing the elephants in the river and getting to see so many of the tourist sights in such a short time! Completely different experience which has inspired future conservation work!

Sheer amazement of interacting with such a variety of animals and experiencing the differences between them all, reacting to all their behaviours.

Where do I even begin?? Beginning the tour in Bangkok was a great way to start the Thai adventure, it's a vibrant and lively city with plenty to see and do ranging from a sophisticated Sky Bar to the craziness of Koh San Road. Sankhlaburri highlights have to be Zip lining at the nature park and meeting the cutest bunch of kids while volunteering at the school. In Kanchanaburri an obvious highlight would be the elephant village but a hidden highlight was the "Get Drunk for 10 baht bar"! The final week was an absolute blast, the islands are a perfect mix of crazy nights and lazy days and you'll never regret a minute of it! Most of all, from this trip I will take away some amazing new friends!

Seeing animals such as lions and elphants etc in a near natural environment. I aslo enjoyed the main reason why I went and that was to achieve my level one in nature guiding. This included game drives, game capture, cutting tree's, moving lions and so much more. I enjoyed everything about the course and what it included. The other highlight is making so many new friends in the time I have been there, you meet so many different people from different places. So glad i did some excursions as well such as shark diving and bungee jumping. icing on top of the cake.

Seeing fantastic sights such as the Taj Mahal were truly amazing and the boat trip down the River Ganges was spectacular- finished with cricket on the beach during the sunset! Nepal was also beautiful, a highlight being the walk through the Chitwan National Park and seeing elephants and rhinos in the wild. The guides were very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Also, DEFINITELY do the morning flight over Everest- once in a lifetime opportunity not to be missed!

Volunteering was incredible - you could really see the difference we'd made straight away. Also the kids that we were building a house for were amazing- honestly the happiest children I've ever met! On our way back from Island hopping there was this ridiculous sunset- sounds cheesy but it was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. Angkor Wat was brilliant, I think everyone loved the temple of Ta Prohm which is where Tomb Raider was filmed. We had an action packed day in Battambang which included a bamboo train, a bat cave, beautiful temples and some of us being chased by a monkey!

The main highlight of this trip is obviously getting the opportunity to volunteer in a very poor country and to see how much help you are giving to these children that need it most. The way the kids are so excited to learn and so pleased that you are there to help to the way the staff at the childcare are so welcoming. It will change the way you think about things and your general attitude towards life. Getting to travel around on weekends and see Cambodia e.g. Siem Reap, Koh Rong, Sihanoukville was also amazing! It will break your heart when you have to leave!

Having hands on experience with incredible animals, getting to go into locals houses and eat their traditional food, dance, play music, making crafts and playing traditional games. Then seeing wild Orangutans and Pygmy elephants along the river kinabatangan. Bring binoculars, have insect repellent and have a good camera!

There were highlights at every stage of the trip- Bangkoks kao San road in general was brilliant for meeting other backpackers and they had the best shopping and cheapest massages! Lol sangklaburi was great for getting a real experience of rural Thailand- my highlight was the adventure park we went to where you could do zip lining, Zorbing and quad biking. The zip lining was absolutely terrifying (given my fear of heights!) but my favourite experience in sangklaburi. In kanchanaburi the elephant village was AMAZING .. Getting the chance to play in the water with the elephants was just incredible- and the elephants were so happy and playful! Then moving on to koh phangan there were so many highlights- SCUBA DIVING not to be missed! And the ang thong national marine park tour was great along with day trips to koh tao (great snorkelling), and of course the half moon party was simply not to be missed!!
