Siem Reap, amazing place! The beach, boat trip and snorkelling... crazy beautiful! And of course volunteering, seeing how much the family appreciated your help and that you actually made a difference was easily the highlight!

The highlights of the trip were definitely Hue for the volunteering and Brown Eyes, Hoi An for the nightlife and most of all, the people on the tour.

From the get go things are intense and you're constantly being thrown into new situations, but my personal highlights would be of course the volunteering, bamboo train in Battambang and island trip in Sihanoukville.

Making new friends and meeting new people, seeing loads of cool places that I would have only imagined seeing on Google images, seeing that are hard work volunteering will really benefit people, chilling in hoi an and partying at brown eyes in hue. Great experience, made new friends, tour guides were legends, amazing.

My guide Annette was my highlight <3 hahah in all seriousness, the guides are amazing both annette and Dimong, they really make you feel comfortable (and i was travelling on my own for the first time), are really caring and just hilarious. They'll also become more like friends than guides. Phnom penh- welcome meal, learning about the khmer rouge, rooftop pool. Siem reap is amazing, has all the touristy things to do during the day like visit angkor wat as well as Pub street for the nightlife (and a very interesting pub crawl). Volunteering and seeing how happy it makes the family at the end. Battambang- killing caves and bamboo train. Sihanoukville- island tour to beautiful islands as well as snorkelling (and good nightlife as well).

Hard to choose just a few, but definitely the nightlife in Hue (brown eyes is sick) as well as crab fishing in Hoi An and the volunteering after party - Vietnamese know how to drink! Most of all, however, our irreplaceable tour guides Jane and Arron!

Meeting people I'll never forget, seeing places I never thought I would in my dreams, Vietnam is so beautiful. I particularly loved hoi an, it was full of lanterns and felt pretty magical. Hue was also amazing, go to brown eyes!!! And not forgetting the most amazing tour guides Jane and Arron who went out of their way to make our trip the best it could be, I'll never forget it!

Sangkhlaburi. It is such a beautiful and peaceful place which really gives you the opportunity to experience true Thai culture. Erawan waterfalls in kanchanaburi were absolutely stunning and reaching the end of the trek is 100% worth it. Of course I cannot forget meeting some of the most amazing people who are now friends for life.

It was all amazing, Vietnam is a beautiful place! The atmosphere of being in Hanoi on their NYE. Staying in a tree house in Mai Chau in the countryside. Sand dunes in Mui Ne were incredible, definitely take the option to quadbike in the dunes. Cruising around Halong Bay where the views were awesome. The cooking class and all the pretty lanterns in HoI An. The craziness of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City and going through the Cu Chi Tunnels.

Honestly the main highlight was the amazing group of people I met, even though travelling alone I felt like I was a part of a small family by the end. The tour guides feel more like your friends, and make sure everyone is as happy as possible all the time!! I loved exploring Siem Reap, from Angkor Wat, the amazing places to eat and going a bit crazy in pub street, it was all incredible. The volunteering is also such a meaningful project that I'm sure will stay with me forever, beyond worth all of the effort.

Visiting Angkor Wat and the other temples was really interesting, and theYOLO bar pub crawl in Siem Reap was a great night out. Learning about the Khmer Rouge at Tuol Sleng and the killing fields was an eye opening and informative day that really helped understand the country and its history.
