Robust, but not bitter, the crema was fabulous ! (If it was a Red wine I would say that it had Great legs - assertive & full bodied and very smooth with a delightful mellow aftertaste 👌) The beans being freshly roasted & then used between 7- 10 days after the roasting date makes a HUGE difference to the taste & consistency of the espresso!

We've tried a few, all good but the fudge blend is superb, just right for us - good depth of flavour, and just a hint of roast smokiness without being overpowering as a strong roast might be - we take it "flat white with a hint of froth"”

I'm clueless about coffee but there was enough info to work out what might be a good choice of coffee maker for my husband who'd said he'd like one, and then it helpfully let me tick the box for the right coffee for that gadget rather than me ordering a combo that wouldn't work together.
