“I received a subscription to Rare Birds as a birthday present and it was such a great gift to receive. The books are varied and each one is fab and not necessarily what I would automatically choose for myself. The fact that you choose the book based on a description without seeing it really adds to the experience. The packaging is beautiful and the whole thing is a real treat to receive!”

“I was given membership as a Christmas present. I was intrigued by the description of the book choice. My first book arrived. It looked initially lightweight but was thought provoking. I have now received my second book which also looks intriguing. The book club is introducing me to books which I would never otherwise have read. It provides an important service at the moment when bookshops are closed and I am shielding.”

“Rare Birds subscription was given to me as a gift and it has been one of the best presents! This particular subscription enables me to choose between two books each month and it’s a real treat, and surprise, to open the lovely packaged book every month. The company are friendly and efficient and pay a lot of attention to detail. I would highly recommend them, especially for a slightly unusual gift. I re-subscribed after the sixth months because I couldn’t face not having a book delivered every month! I have enjoyed each one and it has introduced me to new authors and genres I may not have chosen before. Forgot to say the book club style discussions are great too. 😀”
