“I absolutely LOVE rare birds book club. Firstly that each book is written by a female author feels awesome, and that it’s published recently helps prevent the chance that you’ve already read both options available. I enjoy that it’s basically a blind date with a book, and that the book is often one I wouldn’t have picked off the shelf otherwise. They tend to be books I haven’t seen all over social media which makes them much more interesting to me and also seem to be ahead of trends... I’ve read the book of the month and then months later they’re all over waterstones central tables! The customer service I have received has always been excellent and the book discussions between members often thought provoking. I also like the bookmarks received and the gift wrapping - I also feel like I’m getting value for money and there is nothing extra in the parcel that I wouldn’t use, so no waste either.”
