“This is such a great idea. I love that I get to choose one of 2 books each month based on a synopsis given by Rare Birds. The book drops through my door by post a few days later and I find out the title and author I have chosen. I’ve only just started and the first book I received is amazing, I’ve really enjoyed reading it and can’t wait for the 20th of the month to join in the online discussion with others who have read this with Rare Birds. “Got this subscription as a xmas present from family. After registering I was contacted promptly to make my first choice from a description. The book arrived quickly afterwards. I would prefer to know the author and title in advance but that’s not how it works. I haven’t started reading it yet as I have other xmas present books on the go. “I adore reading but a busy family life means I don't have much me-time anymore. Subscription was a gift and I admit I was apprehensive about not having absolute control over which book to read next. I was worried that no one else could choose a book for me as well as I could. Well, I was wrong. I made a mystery selection based on a brief description of 2 books (which is a lovely touch) and was definitely left eagerly waiting for my book to arrive. The book itself is just what I look for in a story. I'm racing through it (always a good sign) and I am very pleased with RBBC.”
