“Everything I want from a book subscription! Love that it's based around female authors and I also love that the books of choice have actually been read and recommended as it feels much more personal (there were a few book subscriptions I looked at which lacked this and I figured I could end up receiving books I just wouldn't enjoy). Selecting a preferred description and keeping the title a secret makes it super exciting and really encourages you to read things you wouldn't have chosen yourself. On a personal level, I made a promise to start spending more time with myself and this subscription really holds me to that as I want to make sure I finish my book in time for the next one so yeah, I'll definitely be with Rare Birds for a while!”

The books I've chosen are extremely varied in subject, superbly written and by authors I have never come across. “I love rare birds, it's my favourite day of the month when a new book comes through my letterbox, I joined because I wanted to read things i wouldn't think to try and it's so exciting opening the book. One of the reasons I picked RareBirds over everyone else is because many offer hot chocolate, biscuits, etc etc and I'm vegan and there was no sure way to know the products sent would be something I'd support, theyre packaging is in paper and cardboard and the whole subscription supports female authors, I love everything about RareBirds and every time I've spoken with the staff they've been fantastic”
