“I have been associated with QAccounting and prior to that FW accounting for approximately 15 years, and have been very impressed with their service. They answer my numerous queries quickly and precisely and are always able to assist. From a price perspective they are very reasonable and any refunds are always repaid quickly. My Client Manager is Donnie Robertson and he has been a great help to me with all and any questions I have had. Overall a great service.”

“As a customer of 5+ years, I think I have some relatively good insight into customer experience beyond the sales-pitch honeymoon period of new customers. I moved my accountancy needs to QAccounting having been unhappy with the firm I was previously using. I've had a couple of QAccounting account managers, but for the last few years 'Donnie R' (to not post entirely identifiable details) has been my account manager. Nothing has ever been too much trouble for Donnie, and I don't recall ever having to chase Donnie for an answer or to respond in a timely fashion. Even in Donnie's absence, his colleagues (Sheila in particular) reply promptly to either set expectations of an answer on Donnie's return, or more often than not to fully answer any query I have in my account manager's absence. Donnie and the team are always very pleasant and engaging to deal with and one thing I particularly like about QAccounting is that the team always provide a clear and legible answer in plain English rather than an array of complex accountancy jargon and acronyms that would be difficult to understand. I've also found QAccounting's service offerings and fees very transparent. I have no affiliation with QAccounting other than being a customer who happened upon them 5+ years ago looking for an accountancy firm that could offer prompt, authoritative, plain-English services to help me navigate running a small business and dealing with invoicing and HMRC. I would strongly recommend QAccounting for any SME in need of professional accountancy services.”

They were able to resolve all the issues created by the previous accountant, and have run my accounts very smoothly for several years now. “My account manager is Donnie Robinson. Of the 3 I've had, he's probably the best so far. Been with qdos for nearly 7 years, as my only accountant I don't have anyone to compare then too. For the most part, it's been very good, but there have been issues. The outstanding issue is the client portal is shockingly bad since the rebrand from qdos to qaccounting. It's a mobile only site so looks terrible on a desktop web browser. Easy to fix, but after 2 years it's never been updated. The other issue I find, is that tax return. They often come out 3-4 weeks before the submission deadline, such gives little time for you to review them and less time for questions and errors to be corrected. Many of my tax returns get resubmitted with corrections. Personal tax calculations are normally fine, but again could be sent in April instead of late November. Expenses can be a hassle. Easy to submit but hard to reconcile. Showing them online would be so much better, it took a good 4 hours to find out why the director current account was wrong, and was due to an issue in mileage claims from over 3 years ago. I submitted the wrong number on the claim form, Qdos fixed it, but didn't tell me so I took out too much money in expenses. Would be better to reject a claim if any errors are spotted. Would also be good if they didn't break up invoices that go over a tax year, and just used the tax date on the invoice instead. It's good that book keeping will talk to you on the phone to explain things as well. I'm well versed in the rules, but you do occasionally get some small questions that need clarification.”

“I have switched to Qaccounting from my previous accountants and this has been the best decision ever made. As a new business owner it can be difficult to understand all the ins and outs of running a company, but my client manager (Smita M.) has been incredibly patient explaining how things work and providing all the support I need. She's always there to answer any questions I might have - she answers my e-mails and calls promptly and her attention to detail is impeccable. She also keeps me updated on my tax affairs throughout the course of the financial year, so I do not miss any important dates. The reasons: · after a long sequence of accountancy errors (VAT, personal tax return, submission of RTI to HMRC etc), their woefully inadequate services cost me c£1700 in lost tax refund by mishandling the closure of my company. · Their ineffective complaints procedure completely failed to satisfactorily deal with my complaints.”
