About QDOS Breakdown:

QDOS Breakdown is an emerging force in the motor breakdown and vehicle recovery market. We are also known as QDOS Rescue Services and are a trading style of QDOS Insurance Services, who has operated as an insurance intermediary since 2007. We started selling breakdown cover on the internet in February 2011 and have never looked back.

“Hi I did a comparison last year and took out cover with you as the prices and service looked really great value. I never used the breakdown but was happier to know it was there if needed. This year the renewal was slightly higher so I phoned to get a couple of different quotes from other companies........ I got recorded messages and then got cut off..... I phoned Qdos, Heather answered the call and I couldn't believe how lovely and friendly she was and I knew I was coming back to you, cant imagine being broken down at the side of the road in the rain and speaking to an answer phone message..... thank you Heather for all your help.”

“I used Qdos breakdown in 2013 for a trip to France in my motorhome. For the first time after many trouble free holidays abroad I needed assistance. The response was amazing, from the initial friendly, helpful discussion to final assistance. I was mobile once again within 3 hours. I have taken the same insurance again this year, hoping that I do not need to use it but have the security of knowing I have back up in an emergency. I highly recommend Qdos. Single woman traveller.”

“The breakdown cover was quickly arranged at approximately 50% of the cost through my RAC membership. What I don't know is how good the service would be because I was fortunate enough not to have a beakdown”

“Very clear information on what the policy was, easily purchased and was best value for money I could find. As with any insurance the proof would be if a claim had to be made but as far as purchase is concerned everything was clear and straightforward so one would hope the service would be too if called upon. Could deduct a star as policy not on paper but electronic but as this saved money fair enough.”

“Wow. I can't believe the price. Hope the service is just as good if I need them. I saved a whopping £24 from Green flag and thats with them saying I had two years no claim discount ! Worth trying it everyone instead of paying extortionate prices each year for something you may never call on if you have a relaible car.”

“Decided to change from my existing car breakdown provider after being with them for over 10 years, never called them out once but was never offered any discount. The price kept going up year after year so enough was enough. Setting up my cover with Qdos was simple fast and easy, would strongly recommend, just hope i don't have to test out the service promised.”

“needed roadside recovery as being a woman and often on my own needed reassurance found web site easy to follow and was delighted with the price, was thinking up grading my bank account to include roadside recovery, phone ins etc etc but the £10 a month fee was dearer than your price for a whole year”

“I used an online comparison site to look for European car cover for our week's holiday in France. QDOS was the cheapest by far, so I was a bit sceptical if they offered adequate insurance. I shouldn't have worried though, QDOS offered Local Recovery, Home Start, Relief Driver, Car Hire, Roadside Assistance, Nationwide Recovery, Onward Journey and Hotel. Some of the more expensive quotes didn't include all these. I also looked for online reviews of this company and they were very positive. Then to top everything, I received an e-mail from QDOS informing me that although I had given them my telephone number, they wouldn't be ringing me as I was registered with the TPS (how many companies adhere to this these days!) I am so very impressed - and QDOS is FCA regulated too.”
