QDOS Breakdown is an emerging force in the motor breakdown and vehicle recovery market. We are also known as QDOS Rescue Services and are a trading style of QDOS Insurance Services, who has operated as an insurance intermediary since 2007. We started selling breakdown cover on the internet in February 2011 and have never looked back.

“First class company with first class service. Could not ask or expect a better service as I experienced the need to call for help on my car, waited less than an hour and the courtesy shown was excellent. “What can I say. Best money I have spent in a long time. We were caught in the snow dump in the Alps after Christmas. !5,000 stranded on the mountain. Due to the amount of snow my drivers windscreen wiper failed. Having taken 12 hours to drive 15 miles and not at the bottom of the mountain I called the recovery to try and get it fixed. Knowing all the roads were blocked I was not expecting a fast service! I callled the UK who then located a local garage, was kept up to speed with the expected time the mechanic would be with me. While crawling along I had a call from the gargae who said they had located me but the mechanic couldnt stop due to the traffic jam but to meet him a km up the road in a school car park where he would be waiting. An hour later sure enough a guy in hi viz flagged me down, fixed the wiper and even told me a route off road to miss some of the traffic! Excellent service all round especially in horrendous conditions.”

“This is my second year of cover and days before the end of the first year my car broke down twice , the prompt service received sealed the deal to continue for the second year and then my car ( different one ) broke down a few days ago . Again prompt, informative help meant I could put it into the garage and have the necessary work completed . Highly recommend the cover .”

“I broke down on a motorcycle in Northern Spain ON A Saturday night, although nothing could be done locally on the Sunday the sent out a tow truck who delivered me to a motorcycle dealer who promptly got me back on the road. Good communication from both the UK and in Spain. Money well spent.”
