QDOS Breakdown is an emerging force in the motor breakdown and vehicle recovery market. We are also known as QDOS Rescue Services and are a trading style of QDOS Insurance Services, who has operated as an insurance intermediary since 2007. We started selling breakdown cover on the internet in February 2011 and have never looked back.

“Broken down in mid wales. No reception so had to get to the nearest landline. The operator took details and decided if I needed recovery or a mechanic. All went well. The local service contractor arrived, lovely guy. Didn't have a big fix to do so cant asses his mechanical knowledge but seemed competent and was polite, professional and tooled up. The service call centres answered immediately, were polite and though. I am not sure I was talking to a UK call centre or native speakers, if not it was convincing enough and no real communication problem. I called back one time to check the contractor was coming and they were very very good and double checking and relaying a message to me (no mobile reception) . I thought it was strange that they didn't know my vehicle, but could verify my ID from my number plate. No problem - I described the car to them. Overall - I have had a very positive experience, certainly the same as green flag, or the AA, both of which I have used. The only difference is the colour of the recovery truck! Will use again. Dan”

“I had problems with my policy documents, so straightaway I had a web chat with an advisor, Richard, who could see what had gone wrong and promised to correct it for me. He found out after our chat had finished that it would take a bit longer to correct than he thought so rang me on my home phone. True to his word new policy documents were e-mailed to me a few hours later. I was very pleased with this level of customer service.”

“Last day of our honeymoon and the waterpump seizes snapping the timing belt on our car, in southern Germany! Being on a Sunday it appears that recovery is quite challenging in this location, we got dropped off once at a closed garage, recovered again an hour later and taken to another garage where an out of hours emergency technician concluded the above in a matter of moments. Delays aside here the service improved greatly at the point when the company agreed to fly us back to the UK, hire car to get us home so that we could return to work the next day. Our car was returned to us in a reasonable time and is now repaired to travel another day.”
