QDOS Breakdown is an emerging force in the motor breakdown and vehicle recovery market. We are also known as QDOS Rescue Services and are a trading style of QDOS Insurance Services, who has operated as an insurance intermediary since 2007. We started selling breakdown cover on the internet in February 2011 and have never looked back.

“Now in my 5th year with QDOS, 3 years back I had a Citroen c4 found out to have an intermittent electronic fault. 3 times usually after about 50 miles driving it broke down QDOS rescued me and brought me back to the local dealership. The response was rapid, the roadside assistance thoroughly checked all systems, no hesitation to get us back home asap. And all that service at a price lower than most others. More than happy to continue a a customer. If you see this car for sale think twice as the problem was never fixed by the main dealership even after fitting a new computer!”

“An fuel error whilst filling a diesel car resulted in an overnight stay in France while the tank was drained. The form-filling on return was straightforward enough; the only reason for not giving five stars is that I heard nothing more from them. No follow-up email or advice as to if/how the claim was progressing. It was only by scrutinising my bank statements some time afterwareds, that I nmoticed a credit entry I did not recognise. It more-or-less matched the amount claimed so I guess that was the settlement. To this day I have had no information regarding the claim, subsequent to filing it.”

“I was stuck in central Portugal with mechanical failure (and a language barrier). The QDOS HQ representative very quickly had a Portuguese representative contact me and a very smooth transition from breakdown to repair followed. Very obliging, very polite and very efficient staff. They promised to contact me at each stage and did. Thank you. Highly recommended.”

“We purchased the breakdown cover, with the best price and the best cover for what we wanted, we hoped of never having to use it, but in the event of a breakdown we knew we were safe. All our nightmares came true and we did breakdown, luckily for us we were at a private villa and was able to stay another night, as we were planning to drive back to England at 1am. Thats when the van would not start, nightmare began, but all the staff at Qudos, were the best ever, very helpful very patient and kept us informed, the van wasnt reparable so was taken away the following day and we were taken by taxi to the airport to get us home, that was the excellent part of the service, the van was the poor side of the service, it took over 3 weeks to get it back to the UK, which was in our opinion very slow and although we did make it slower by asking Qudos to get us a cost for repairs, i dont think one day for that should make it over 3 weeks to arrive back. Overall though we were pleased by their efforts to get us home, but somewhat disappointed about the treatment of the van.”
