I asked if my wife could be dressed in her favourite dress and was told it would only be laid on top of her whitch i didn't think was very good otherwise I thought it was very smooth the way it all went.

Thought it took far to long for my mums ashes to come back,then they forgot her rings so had to come back again which was very distressing for us has a family

No fuss does what it says. Our mother did not want a service or any fuss over her passing. We are glad we chose pure cremation. They kept us upto date from picking mum up from the hospital to delivering her ashes to us. Very professional and compassionate.

Very kind and kept me informed. 2 weeks to collect from hospital whuch was longer than I expected but thar probably was the hospital taking so long with paperwork. It was what my brother wanted but would not be for me. Must put after cremation was quick to bring the ashes to me in a lovely container.

There was a little delay due to miscommunication regarding a pin in my dads leg. And I never did receive the requested invoice showing my name, to ease the admin required to obtain a bereavement grant. But everything else went smoothly

We wanted a simple cremation before celebrating my dad's life when his ashes are placed with my mum, grandad and grandma. Pure Cremation gave clear guidance on what was involved and called me (the same person Julia) at each stage. Not having to worry at a difficult time was a great help.

Applying was very easy and documentation received easy to understand. Our Mum was in a care home 360 miles away so arrging was simple. Staff were helpful and courteous. My only criticism was when I made the initial call to report Mum's passing. The handler seemed a little confused and unsure what to do, other than that a good service.

Mum chose pure cremation so we, didn't have to worry about expenses I thought the service was, good the only thing was, they didn't tell us a time on the day of cremation

We have taken the decision not to offer approximate times because these might change considerably and result in unnecessary anxiety about all other aspects of our care and communication. The staff are highly professional, the service is excellent but not giving a rough time for cremation was the only thing we found uneasy as knowing would have helped our family gathering to process the death.

I received very sympathetic and professional treatment during phone calls and emails from Pure Cremation, and they made the process easier to deal with. The Pure Cremation Plan had been bought by my mother 5 years ago and all her wishes as stated in the contract were carried out in a very professional manner. I had not been aware that all the cremations took place in Andover so It was a litte stressful that she was stored locally and did not get taken to Andover until 3 days after her passing. I was, however kept informed of all the stages regarding medical documents and the commital date, and the ashes were returned to me by a professional and sympathetic driver employee of Pure Cremation. The biodegradable container with instructions regarding safe dispersal was also very welcome.

Excelent caring people who delt with things very sypatheticaly. only improvement was I didn't realise we could enclose tokens (in our case 4 Roses )with the coffin. If my Daughter had't asked we wouldn't have it may be we hadn't read everything but if the question was asked to everyone it would be nice. We have elderly family and everyone celebrated her life in their own way. but replicating the 4 roses ment we were united although apart.

Very friendly, helpful and patient. Answered my questions even on a weekend when there was only emergency staff covering. My only niggle, and the reason I only gave 4 stars, was I had to keep calling for updates on where my loved one was.

On the whole yes they did a very good job our family was satisfied with the contact we had with the very friendly staff The only part which did upset me is the fact wherever you live in the country your loved ones are taken to Andover for cremation I did believe they would be handled locally on reflection Pure cremation did not at any time tell me any different.

Pure cremation provided a positive experience for our family, and the passing of my dad. The men who collected my dad were respectful, friendly and took the time to explain the process and talk to myself and my mum for 20 minutes after collecting my dad. They were very kind. The next day pure cremation called me to reassure us that my dad arrived in the early hours of the morning and he was in their care. From then on the communication was above and beyond. They rang to confirm cremation date, delivery of ashes etc. The team were all very friendly and kind and although I was not keen on my dads choice of a direct cremation instead of traditional funeral, I was very impressed with the personal service they provided at this difficult time. Pure cremation constantly kept in touch with us via telephone and email, confirming payment, the receiet of death certificate etc. The lady who delivered my dads ashes to me at home rang and gave me an hours timeslot and arrived in a black plain car and was polite and kind. The ashes were in a bag and this wasnt obvious to my neighbours. Overall a positive experience with this company, the only reason they loose a star is for the following reasons; I was charged £250 pounds for a rapid collection of my father (I rang at 5.30pm to arrange collection and was given a time of 22.30pm. I then had to leave my dads house and return later. I felt this was far too long to wait, but the team did call me around 8.30pm, to say they would be earlier and collected my father at 9.30pm ish. The changing of times caused further stress on top of an already upsetting and stressful weekend. The van also had pure cremation written all over it. I felt this was an advertisement of some sort, and tbh I was relieved it was dark when they collected my dad, so it wasnt so obvious to the neighbours what was happening. It was not at all private. I also think requesting payment in 48 hours in far too soon. A week would be more suitable, as when dealing with grief, the first 48 hours are dreadful and having to think about paying a funeral company is the last thing anyone wants. This aside, I would still recommend this company and I was impressed with their care, compassion and service.
