During a difficult period in our lives, the service that we received from Pure Cremation was dignified and excellent throughout. We were kept informed every step of the way. Everything that we were promised was carried out with minimum fuss. All of the people that we spoke to were polite, professional and considerate.

Everybody I spoke to was very helpful and understanding explained to me what happens phoned me to let me know my husband was under there care nothing was rushed they made it relaxed a not stressful

This was the second time I have used your services. First time was for my husband and the second time, very recently, was for my mother. Cannot praise Pure Cremation highly enough. On this occasion the ashes were returned to me and everything went without a hitch. Thank you.

I am so glad i was asked to write a review as i never thanked the team at Pure Cremations. It is the first time i have ever left a review for any service or product i have brought. They handled my late brothers cremation superbly, i would recommend them to anyone, i will be once i have spoken to my daughters taking up a plan myself. Thanks again team you made a very horrible job so much easier, i was kept in the loop every step of the way, thank you.

From the point of advising them of Mother's passing to bringing us her ashes they managed everything seamlessly and kept us informed every step of the way and were always very respectful. This relieved me of much anxiety and I am so grateful. I would recommend them highly.

my mum passed away on the 17th dec,i paid in full two days after and organised her creamation,i was told she will be collected from the hospital the following tue and that they would contact me when they were on their way.two weeks later i was forced to ring to see if they had got her in their care and the lady said no we will be getting her on the14th jan which was nearly a month so she had been still at hospital all alone. Me and my father was very upset by this.On the sat i did not receive a phone call to say they had finally got her but again i had to ring to see what was going on.They said they did pick her up and was sorry (once again for not contacting me)i then asked when and what time she will be getting creamated on the sat,they then said once again the will contact me to let me know.ON the following tue they actually rang me and asked how it went??? i said i had no idea what the time was she was being cremated as they were supposed to contact me with the time and once again it slipped their mind....This had me feeling very dissapointed and upset as this is my beautiful mother.Im still very upset about this and it hurts.She trhen said they will be delivering her ashes to me a wk later,but im not holding my breath...:(

Dear Amanda, I am sorry that you feel your experience with Pure Cremation has not met your expectations. Having looked at the detailed notes that make your mother’s record, I can see that you instructed us to look after the arrangements on Friday 23rd December. Due to this being just before the Christmas period, we arranged to bring your mother into our care at the earliest possible date, taking into account that hospitals are unable to accommodate this over the weekend and bank holidays. Unfortunately, on the day we intended to bring your mother into our care, we experienced a sickness within the team meaning we were unable to bring your mother into our care on the date originally intended, but again arranged this for the soonest possible date following. I do agree that communication could have been better throughout, and that your expectations could have been managed better in relation to timescales over the festive period. I can see that we have arranged for your mother’s ashes to come back to you on Monday to ensure there are no further delays. Please do let us know if there is anything else you need at this point. I regret having signed up the same time as my partner after the way she was treated by Pure Cremation. Firstly she passed suddenly so she had not paid the minimum 24 payments for the over 50's plan. So invoiced me for the outstanding amount. If you're on Benefits or you don't have the funds to pay said invoice they will NOT collect you're loved one until the balance has been paid in full. Luckily my father in law helped me out. If this was not bad enough they took over two weeks to collect my partner. My partners last wishes were that she be dressed in her favourite outfit along with a few personal bits. They did not respect her wishes one bit they would not dress her but would place them over her. She passed on 23rd Nov and was cremated on 23rd December a month after her passing. I was told it would be a few days after making payment. So thet lied about that detail. The whole overall experience was extremely stressful and I got the feeling that they were only interested doing the very basic care of looking after my partner. They disregard any personal wishes I had or expected that these were my partners personal last wishes. I personally very angry with the way pure cremation treated my partner while in their care. I regret not using a local funeral director which actually worked out cheaper and included a service and viewing. They claim they make everything stress free well this was not the case in my experience You made it more stressful than it had to be.

Dear Mr. Redfield, Thank you for your feedback, and I am sorry that you feel that your partner’s cremation arrangements were not handled to the high standard we would normally expect. A senior manager has attempted to make contact with you to discuss the points you’ve raised. We acknowledge that it took longer than we would normally expect for us to bring your partner into our care, but can see that we were able to follow your wishes and dress your partner and take the photos you requested – we are keen to make sure these get to you to give you the peace of mind these instructions were carried out, despite being something we wouldn’t normally accommodate. Pure cremation were wholly efficient, caring, empathic and are well organised. When my time comes I've told my family I want pure cremation too

As it was Christmas time, the service was carried out as soon as possible. However, as I said in my email to them, it would be helpful to deal with only one person rather than the 4 whom I dealt with, and have his/her contact email at the start. Also, the invoice asked for payment within 48 hours, which was Christmas Day! It could I'm sure be changed to 'within 48 working day hours' so as not to cause distress. Also, the invoice was sent before I actually spoke to the caseworker. The return delivery of my husband's ashes was quick and smooth and kindly done. I would and do recommend Pure Cremation's services. Julie H

I would like to apologise for any distress that may have been caused by the automated date that appears on the invoice, this is valuable feedback that we will consider in future when managing family’s expectations. This is usually sent out at the point we are instructed, along with the legal cremation forms, to ensure you have everything you need at the earliest point and there are no delays in looking after someone. At the time we were looking after your husband we were experiencing a high volume of calls, so enlisted the help of other colleagues to help us in answering calls so that we could look after all who needed us in a timely manner. I am sorry that you did speak to multiple people, but want to assure you that everyone who answers the phone is equipped to be able to help with all queries. Excellent service just when we needed things to be easy to sort. Great advice over the phone and delivery of Williams ashes to our house. My wife and I both have PC policies and we know we will be in good hands when our times come. Thank you

A wonderful service provided be kind and compassionate staff! I was always kept informed right up till my brother's ashes were returned to me. I would highly recommend Pure Cremation as a reliable and caring team. I can't thank the staff enough.
