“The delivery was a bit delayed, not a problem. All the parts were there, well wrapped. The pulley fixings are designed to screw into material such as wooden joists, however, our ceiling in France is made of horizontal terracotta bricks which will not support the pulley screws. So I needed to buy fixings that would work with the ceiling but the pulley screws would not work with the fixings! It would be useful to have a choice of pulleys with screw -in fixings or just hooks that could be attached to ceiling fixings.”

“I love having the pulleymaid - it makes life so much easier and the struggle of indoor drying look much better. The only thing that would make it better was if the wood was bigger of the holes smaller as they move quite a lot and the first time I used it they all fell out - I've got the hang of it now though.”

“Overall happy with my purchase and would recommend. The bed-board rack is sturdy and well made and delivery was fast. Lost a star for the poor instructions, it didn't come pre-threaded and the instruction sheet focused on how to drill into a wall rather than what to do with all the bits and pieces in the box so had to guess on how to assemble the product.”

“The price seems right and the goods arrived quickly. Unfortunately I couldn't use a complete kit, because my ceiling includes insulation and is unsuitable for the pulleys provided by Pulleymaid - I had to order different pulleys elsewhere. The result is good, although somehow we've not got around to using it yet...”

“Easy to put together, good value for price. One little issue it would be good to have some form of sleeve to stop the wooden rails moving, if you did raise or lower uneven then the rails slip or fall out.”

Whilst I had the dimensions I hadn't consider the actual width of the hanging rail part which in my opinion is a little narrow”

“Very pleased with my Double Panel Beadboard Drying Rack. It looks lovely & keeps all my washing, that can't be tumble dried, from being hung on all the downstairs doors & radiators. It definitely needs 2 people to fix it to the wall & I would recommend that you have a long thin sharp tool to mark out the screw holes as you can't get a pencil through the pre-drilled holes in the rack. A couple of the hanging bars are a bit rough so will need sanding down so that clothes don't catch. Instructions are a bit basic & needed to refer to picture on website. Quick delivery & used discount code (although item later on sale at lower price) but still very happy with it overall.”
