“Did what it said on the tin. I wanted a laundry pulley, they describe their models on their website, I picked one, paid for it using PayPal, they shipped it via ups. No drama and no hassle. They suggested a few nice ideas by way of cleats and additional pulley blocks to move the tie off point to be more convenient. Minor niggle, their method of finding curling joists is "approximate" I wouldn't want to rely only on tapping the ceiling to find joists. However that's not so much a comment in pullymaid more a comment on don't be drilling holes in walls and ceilings generally unless you are sure you know what's behind them.”

“Thank you! I am delighted with my 4 lath Pulleymaid, it is exactly what I wanted, it does the job perfectly & looks wonderful in my utility room. It reminds me of my Grandmother's kitchen in Edinburgh when I was a child, I used to help her put the washing on the drying rack & then watch her wind the cord around the hook in a figure of eight & watch as the damp linen was hoisted up to the ceiling.......now I'm doing the same thing! “I am lucky to have a large utility room and I wish I had bought these pulleys long ago . They are brilliant and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. My room has quite a high ceiling and I have four . Just load them up and all the washing is up and out of the way . Easy to pull up and down. Mine are all five foot and I can usually get one machine load on each one . I have round metal sock holders and they hang on there too . No more irritating clothes horses cluttering up the room ! Just brilliant !!! Lynn K .”
