“I bought this 6 staff clothes airer, to replace a 4 staff one I'd bought some years earlier. The cast-iron Pulleymaid airers have the substantial feeling of quality about them. With a 6 staff airer, I can dry a full washing machine load, even of bedding, with enough space for them to dry efficiently. Whether with 4 or 6 staffs, they are the best way of drying clothes, without having to live with ones washing in the middle of ones house or garden, as it only requires some ceiling height, such as a stairwell. I don't use anything else”

“Excellent product!! We purchased a 6 bar, 5ft version and it takes a large washing machine load. Its really nice freeing up floor space and the washing seems to dry much quicker suspended from the ceiling. We have very high ceilings and didn't need the extra sash cord. It was delivered promptly and well packaged. I would highly recommend.”

“Very happy with my Beadboard double panel drying rack. I have hung it on the wall in my utility room near a window and opposite my tumble dryer, so it benefits from the warm air to speed up drying. It looks great and seems to be very sturdy and well made. It is barely noticeable when closed, and when in use, takes up less space than my freestanding airer because it doesn't use any floor space. My washing dries really quickly on it in the warm room. I would definitely recommend this product if you have the wall space in the right setting. Only two tiny issues, which wouldn't stop me buying but would be good to address for future buyers: 1. The website only gives overall dimensions, it would have been nice to see internal measurements too, such as the rails themselves (which are approx 400m wide). 2. It would have been nice to include a template with the instructions for drilling the holes in the wall, as the item is quite big and heavy for one person to hold and mark out. A template would make a nice finishing touch.”

“This seemed to be challenge - would the wooden lathes travel undamaged from the UK to Calfornia . They did, much to my surprise! Instructions were clear, necessary components were enclosed, the drying rack was hung in about 20 minutes. Very good experience so thank you”

“A simple, good quality product which does what is says on the tin. The only shortcoming is the small size of the cleat hook supplied for anchoring the cord on which the rack hangs. With new (stiff) cord, in particular, it is very difficult to ensure that the cord stays wrapped around the cleat, and the cleat is too small to accommodate more than a couple of turns. Changing the cleat for a larger one fixes the problem - but a larger size is not available from Pulleymaid”
