“Having replaced my Pulleymaid cord around 8 years ago, I ordered new laths when the (very) old ones became discoloured. These were well priced, arrived promptly well wrapped, and my Pulleymaid looks like new again! I am a happy customer.”

“Great product. Allow for a generous overlap of lathes at either end of rack ends for stability but after sales help with this issue got the product working great. Really efficient and friendly customer service. Recommend highly.”

“I ordered a new rope for my pulley maid as the old one has lasted about 9 years. I think £9.99 for a replacement is really reasonable. I love getting the washing up on the airer and out of the way 🙂. So pleased we installed a pulley aid airer.”

“I have had a pulley maid clothes airer in my utility room for many years. I love it as it keeps the floor clutter free from clothes racks, and the clothes dry quickly overnight without having to use a tumble dryer! I needed a replacement sash cord and contacted customer services who immediately got in touch, were very helpful and within 24hrs my new cord had arrived! Excellent service! Thank you!”

“An excellent clothes pulley which is sturdy and well made. Quite confusing to install if not good a DIY expert but there's a helpful online video to assist. We also purchased a couple of shelves for our utility which are also excellent quality and we are happy with. Delivery was fast too.”

“Apart from the initial, desperately poor customer service, the product (concertina airer) has been poor. It was clearly unfinished, certainly not treated and not well sanded. As a result it has been uncomfortable to handle with sharp edges and superficial splinters which catch the hand and snag on the clothes. Worst of all, it has started to go mouldy on the bars that take the clothes after a few weeks of use, and given that it is designed to air damp clothes that suggests to me it isn't really fit for purpose. If it weren't for the poor customer service I would consider sending it back. It's a shame as the design and look is good, just not practical (or safe?) to use. One of my bigger purchasing regrets!”

“We've had an airer for years, which was on its last legs (wings?). So lovely to have a new one, with wood, six rungs, just so useful for a household without a dryer. Stylish and good quality. We are in the Scottish islands, and Pulleymaid only charged us an extra £20 postage, rather than the £60 another company had offered!”

“The laths went mouldy after a few months. I asked the company for help and they advised washing and sanding, which I tried but to no avail. After some to and fro, they did offer eventually to take them away to clean (it would take a few weeks) but were really quite rude, denying any responsibility and implying it was somehow my fault. Why wouldn’t the warranty cover mould on laths? The laths from this company come untreated. Might make sense to treat them yourself first so this doesn’t happen to you too.”

“This is my second pulleymaid. This one is 1.8m 6 laths. It was easy to install and as it's in a utility room that has underfloor heating clothes are dry in no time. I use it to air woollen items so they rarely need washing.”
