Many thanks for leaving us a review. We do have some information on our website at the time of order, along with the confirmation email that includes pictures advising that delivery may be left kerbside in instances where a manual pallet truck won't operate, i.e. up a slope, on a gravel or soft surface. I'm pleased to hear you were happy with the speed of the delivery and we appreciate your five star rating.

“Excellent service - ordered 2 bulks bags of Scottish pebbles and they were delivered 2 days later as stated. Driver very helpful at putting both bags where I asked for them to be dropped. Thank you”

“Order was fine except the delivery guy dropped the ton bag of stones on to a manhole and smashed it. They Alhumdullilah ent taken any responsibility or accepted the fault hoping that I’ll just forget Won’t be using this company again.”

Hi Asum. I'm sorry to hear about the issue you experienced with a broken manhole cover. The delivery company we use are officially a curbside delivery service. The drivers use manual pallet trucks and will try to accommodate customers requests to place pallets as near to the property as possible. We have forwarded your picture and complaint to the delivery company. Apologies again for any inconvenience caused and I'm glad to hear that the product itself was satisfactory.

“Ordered some Scottish cobbles 50-80mm. Although it states that they could be a little larger, some were measuring over 100mm. Phoned to see if we could return them. Receptionist was rather frosty and informed me that it would cost approximately £80_£90. Will not be using you again!! Customer service needs some improvements.”

Hi Gina. Thanks for taking some time to leave a review. I'm sorry to hear the cobbles didn't meet your expectation. In general we do receive excellent feedback on this product. The cobbles are graded at the quarry and some of them may pass through the grading machine sideways, resulting in some of the cobbles being larger than expected. We always recommend that customers order a sample before placing a large order, to ensure the product matches expectations on delivery. As this is a natural product size and shape may vary and the sizes are based on averages. I understand that you also felt our customer service was in need of improvement in relation to the cost of returning the items. Unfortunately the pallet company do charge us for returning a pallet and we are unable to absorb these costs, whilst remaining competitive and keeping our prices low.

“Bought a bulk bag for my 5 year old’s sand pit that I built him. Delivery driver was a great character and a great help going beyond duty to get the large bag as close as possible to where I needed it with his tail lift and manual pallet lifter. The sand has turned a very nice golden colour as it drys and gets the sun. My son spends hours in it and loves it. I can just sit next to him in peace for a while as he digs holes, tunnels and makes roads for his many toy vehicles!! Thank you guys, great service job well done.”

“Great products at competitive prices! Good selection of Scottish Cobbles in 950kgs bag which is more than others! Would have been a 5 star except the delivery instructions were overlooked but nevertheless all round value for money!”

Thanks for leaving a review for us Roy. Sorry to hear the delivery company weren't able to carry out the exact delivery instructions. Palletways are a curbside delivery service officially, but they do try to deliver as per customer requests where possible. I'm pleased to hear you were happy with the product itself and we appreciate your positive feedback.
