Hi Steve, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I'm sorry that you feel our service to be very poor due to posting the certificate to you. This is due to people having to send their certificates to the DVLA in the post to enable their transfers to be actioned when they can't be done online. If you were in a rush for the certificate I'm surprised you ordered it with economy delivery - surely you would have ordered it with a more premium delivery service if you needed it quicker? No issues with the plate itself but customer service was just dire, rude and unnecessary.

Customer service advisor was really really rude. I am not sure if that person i spoke to knows the word manners and etiquette. This kind of employee ruins the company he is representing.

Absolutely shocking service by this business. Firstly, received the wrong plates, then secondly the customer service they provide is nothing short of disgraceful, have no interest in customers at all. Avoid and use another business. To put the blame on a customer in the way you have with myself is an absolute disgrace and one you should be ashamed of, shame on you Primo, shame on you! You have attempted to charge me almost £160 to cancel my order as you got it wrong, where is the fairness in that?! Avoid!

Hi Kev, thank you for your review, but I don't believe your review to be a fair representation of the service provided. You received the plates that you ordered, but you claim that you ordered them with a lipped plate message. This we know to be incorrect as you neither ordered or paid for this option. You then asked us to cancel your order, which we gave you the option to do, but then you didn't want to go ahead with this option due to the costs involved. We offered to provide you with different number plates, and again you didn't want to go ahead with this option due to the costs involved. I believe you are confusing customer service with getting what you want for free, which as a company we cannot provide you on this instance. I'm sorry that we can't provide you with a £89 set of number plates for free, but I hope that you enjoy your new registration. Regards, The Primo Team
Application process I found difficult at the later stage. I provided information of vehicle and year, it turns out I ticked an incorrect box ( my fault) and received the wrong size registration plate. After contacting company and spending 100s of £££s I was told YOUR OWN FAULT basically. Which I accept it may have been partly but surely as a company given the year and model of car you too knew what was required and sizing! Awful attitudes from customer services and will never recommend this company to anyone. Shame considering to solve probably cost you a few ££s instead of Charging more to myself!! Shame on you given the worlds sorry state right now!! Your negative reviews speak volumes You’ve had several companies in different names! Say no more…

Unfortunately we can't determine what type of number plate that you want, and do have to be directed by what you order. I'm sure you'll understand that we cannot contact each and every customer to establish if they have ordered the correct items on an order. Once again I'm sorry that you feel our service to warrant a 1 star review, but I don't feel it is justified when we have supplied you with what you ordered. I understand that my colleague offered to supply your with an additional rear plate but you haven't advised us further on that. However, I hope that your enjoy the registration that you ordered. Sold me a plate and misinformed me that the plate could go on my partners car which was not true very poor took at least 4 weeks to get any responce from them now im stuck with a plate which we cant use

Hi Simon, Thank you for your review. I'm very disappointed to read your review, especially following our email conversation back in February about this. You claimed in February that you had telephoned us, but we could not find any record of either of the phone numbers that you claimed you phoned from, plus you couldn't provide proof of phoning us at that time either. According to you British Telecom no longer provide itemised billing? When you placed your order online you confirmed that you were aware of the age limitation of the registration but you clicked to accept it. We certainly didn't misinform you as our website is very clear and we sent you screenshots to show you this. You initially contacted us back in January about this issue, and we explained that the reason for the delay in investigating it for you was due to our manager being in hospital with Covid, yet you contacted us again demanding a phone call back from him, knowing that he was in hospital. It still amazes me that people think that this is acceptable behaviour. I hope that this clarifies the situation as I do not believe your review to be accurate. Thanks The Primo Team
After paying for a Fast Track service and having to chase up the number plate myself i am very disappointed. I could have filled in the relevant paperwork myself and saved money.

Hi Gavin, Thank you for taking the time to write us a review. I'm very sorry that you feel our service to be slow so have investigated this for you. I can see that your documents had to be sent to the DVLA and this was communicated to you on the 2nd. Unfortunately there are delays at the DVLA at the moment due to covid, but they completed it within the 15 working days that we advise you, and this was communicated to you on the 21st. Although you say you had to chase the order up this doesn't influence the time that the DVLA complete the transfer. I'm very sorry that you feel that us working within the current timescales that we advise you of, during what are exceptional circumstances in the world, is poor, but I don't believe that the service that you received from us deserves the worst possible review score. Extremely poor after sale service. Staff specially male staff is very rude. I accidentally ordered sticking pads twice worth £1.76 Or something when asked to Ames the order , I was told it will cost me £9 to get £ 1.76 refunded. Wrong information was relayed about changing the registration plates as DVLA asked me to change. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to use the primo registration change service as it’s just waste of£20. However the price of registration was relatively cheap than other companies. But service is very poor.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. However, after reading the review I have taken the time to investigate it and listen to the call that you made. What you have put is totally incorrect and not what you were advised. I also don't understand what you mean by your comment that DVLA asked you to change - I have just gone back through all the contact with you and also the contact that you've received from the DVLA and that is not true. We were advised from the DVLA that the transfer was completed on the 12th July and we immediately advised you of this. I do not believe your review to be an accurate review of the service that you've received from us. However, I hope that you enjoy your number plate. Regards Primo Team
It has been 16 working since primo received my details.I paid £19.99 for them to deal with the dvla.I was then informed the dvla are now dealing with the transfer.save yourself some money and go through dvla yourself.no communication from primo.still no word when I can put my plates on.customer service is non existant.

If you'd have contacted us we would have been able to advise you of the situation at the DVLA due to them being on strike which has delayed a number of transfers, which is as frustrating for us and it is for our customers. I can confirm that you certainly wouldn't have been able to get it completed quicker than we can, as everyone is experiencing these delays. I ordered a reg through discount registrations which is the same company as primo registrations, the money was recieved by primo registrations, but they have no record of my purchase, what a con this is please dont send any money to these scam artists

As per previous reviews - should’ve read them before buying from this company. The stated max time frame is 1-15 days to transfer but it took over 6 weeks. Staff are very argumentative rather than apologetic. A simple email stating there *may* be delays and acknowledging this beforehand would’ve been helpful. In hindsight i wish I’d paid extra and dealt with a far more professional company. The fact that they leave condescending comments on people’s bad reviews here tells you EVERYTHING you need to know in advance of dealing with them. Wouldn’t recommend at all.

We state that the transfer normally takes 1-15 working days, but unfortunately experienced delays due to the strikes. I can see that one of my colleagues went out of their way to inform you as soon as we got notification that your transfer has been supplied - We will always communicate to customers as soon as your transfer has been approved. I am asked to write a review. I ordered my plates ten days ago. I have received all the documentation but no plates. I got an email stating plates had been sent eight days ago. I have just been online to one of your representatives, Daisie, who asked, "How can I help you." I explained and I got no response. I replied again and again still no response. I thought maybe plates have been lost in post. As the company won't sell private registration without purchasing plates from them, I would at least have expected a reply.

My first time buying a private reg for present for a friend. I payed for the private reg plate 9nly to find out I have to pay extra £50 for it. To put into my friends name. Wasn't happy but payed for it. I sent paperwork back to get the plate transferred on the vehicle. I get an email advising me I can't transfer plate on to vehicle because I need to pay for nominee fee. When I have already payed for it. They haven't got a clue what's going on in the office.

(had I not paid, and transferred myself, the transfer would have completed online on time, not a week later) You may decide after reviewing my conversation with your female sales assistant, that your sales staff need further training when informing customers of expected transfer dates, as they are clearly not the same as you think they are.

Terrible service cauld not speak to an adviser. Never sent email of confirmation of perchance until l got hold of then eventually by email .Would not recommended PRIMO REG .This was the 6the Private Plate l have brought from different Dealers with no problem at all .

Unfortunately our aftersales department had to close for a short period of time due to staff being hospitalised due to covid. Naturally their health and safety outweighs a small delay in sending you your certificate in the big scheme of things, but I'm sorry that you couldn't talk to an advisor during this time. After receiving an email and text to say that I could now display my new plates I contacted Primo registrations to be spoken to in a very rude manner by a manager. I had not received my plates after 8 days. After contacting the Royal Mail myself and no trace of the new plates I contacted Primo Registrations again to be answers by a very helpful female and straight away it was arranged for me to get a new set sent. Finally I received my plates after 13 days wait.

Seller information, Factual information to assist would be sellers of their cherished number plate on this site. When you entered your registration plate for sale you will have confirmed the minimum return you required. Having just sold my number plate I thought it would help anyone who is registered on Promo Registrations the format on receipt of an offer. 1. Email confirming a buyer was interested in my registration and requesting me to confirm the lowest financial amount I will accept. 2. My registration was on a retention certificate (£80) paid by me. DVLA web site clearly gives a warning stating “NEVER” email, copy or scan your retention documents. Peter, (director of the company) requested I email a copy of my retention certificate so he could send me a sales pack as he had a buyer and could return me the amount I required. 3. On receipt of the sales pack via email, I was very surprised the transaction would be competed by giving control via a “Power of Attorney” to Primo Registrations to carry out the sale. I would not be reimbursed my £80 transfer fee. 4. At this point I decided this was not a Company I wanted to deal with and sent an email the same day to confirm I no longer wanted to sell my registration number. Peter’s response, please can you confirm you wish to break your agreement as we will start legal proceedings, I prefer not to go down this route. A heavy threat to an OAP as he confirmed the company fee was £30. 5. Upon completion of the sale, I requested a full breakdown of the transaction, Peter advised me that the minimum amount I was paid is the only figure that concerns me and therefore the only financial figure they can release to me. You may draw your own conclusions as to whether you want to use this Company to sell your cherished plate on your behalf. I will not be recommending Primo Registrations.

Hi Glenice, I have sent you through a message last night asking you to contact me directly, but unfortunately to date I haven't received any contact from you. However, I have taken the opportunity to investigate this matter for you in the meantime. What you have put on your review is not a true reflection of the events that you portray. On the 3rd Oct you confirmed that the registration was available and the price you were after. We asked you for a picture of the certificate as normal practice - afterall we are not going to give someone money just because they claim to own a registration (we have to protect both our buyer and seller in this process). On the 5th Oct you sent us the picture of the certificate which we verified to be genuine, and then sent you the sale pack after we confirm the purchase with our buyer. You then subsequently claim that you won't be proceeding with the sale due to you isolating (please see your email of 3.56pm), not that you didn't want to go ahead due to having to send through a scan of the certificate (which you had already done earlier in the day). We explain to you that we have agreed to the sale already. Unfortunately we would be incurring costs in doing so, plus also it is not fair on our buyer that you have changed your mind - as you say we are a reputable company and don't like letting our customers down, which I'm sure you'd appreciate if you were the buyer. You then sent the details through, and your paperwork is processed and your payment is made to you. You then asked for a breakdown of details which are all shown in your transfer pack along with in the emails conversations that had gone on. We certainly would not be in a position to send you details of our buyer as that would break a number of laws. I'm sorry that you think our service to be poor, but we sold your registration for the price that you wanted, you were paid out quickly for it, and the only issue in the process was due to you wishing to back out when you had already agreed to it. I will post this reply on all the other review websites that you have put your review on too. I trust that this answers your review. Thanks
Absolutely top rate rip off I made a typo error and they took £50 to correct it so I then said I will cancel the order and was then told I would lose all the money as there can not be a refund so pay the extra £50 or lose £287 RIP off
