Registration and document transfer very smooth and clear but didn’t want to buy plates but had to and they come without fixings or holes and are basic quality. Suggest that customers are given the choice to opt out in future as it’s let an otherwise quality service down.

I recently purchased a plate from PRIMO, I found the price good and them to be professional but maybe a little too "business like" in there approach to customers. I had two questions in mind to ask, but the call taker would not engage with me and simply directed me to the email and paperwork that would arrive, I was left feeling a little "dismissed" by that. Perhaps it was because I declined the "fully managed transfer service"?, but why would I pay £24:99 for that ?, when it is a process that takes less than five minutes to do "on line" and is dead easy. Having worked in the service industry, I feel customer service could be improved

Overall I am happy with my purchase. My new registration is now completed with only a little stress, but I am easily stressed. Only thing I would say is that communication could be a little clearer. Original phone calls when enquiring were very helpful and friendly. The quality of the number plates themselves were a little below average, a bit rough around the edges - this is compared to the original plates which seemed to be aluminium backed rather than plastic. (not overly bothered as long as they are legal, but would not buy these cheap ones if I saw them 1st).

Generally went well. Apart from when i recieved my plates. The quality and marks (bubbles) on front plate inside was a huge let down. Called back found the guy on phone a bit rude. Maybe he was having a bad day. Deffinately would not recomend them making your plates for you. Even tho i paid 19.99 for them and still I had to get them made again without horibble markings from a local place.

Was annoyed that the original registration purchased was already sold. No compensation offered. Either refund in full or pick another. Would give any discount for inconvenience. Set email stating they tried to contact me when they hadn’t n I had to call them. Doubt I will use them again

Fast service,7days from ordering to fitting on the car,l paid £19.99 for DVLA transfer,and it was done for me in no time,l sent them my log book and within a few days l received my updated log book.only complaint,l paid for 1st class royal mail with proof of delivery,but they were posted through letter box with no signature from me and on opening found a chip on bottom corner of front plate.l can always purchase a new plate at a garage l suppose,but disappointed as it was a present

Very easy transaction. They have done everything for me so made life easier. However after calling them to verify something I was not sure about, I found the person who answered a little condescending, especially as I had just come out of hospital that day and was still drugged up. Overall great service and I would recommend them to others and even bought another set of plates for my dad.

My views are split into two- the acquisition and transfer and then the support given via online chat. My transfer took just three days. The plates arrived the next day. Communications were excellent and if just judging in this aspect I would have rated very good. However, I did a web chat on their site simply to enquire if I needed to buy adhesive tape as I wanted to stick them on. You would think this is a simple question for which there would be a simple answer. Not so. Peter seemed to be playing that yes no game where you avoid using yes or no in your answer. On the question “ do I need to buy adhesive tape to stick your plates onto my car?” Answer “if you have secure fixings then you can buy our fixing kit”. What are secure fixings? Screws maybe. So I qualify and ask again if I need tape. His reply “ I’ve already told you”. I press further. I don’t have screw fixings and want to stick them on, should I buy tape strips. Answer, I’ve answered that question. Perhaps he was having a bad day but really was it so hard for him to just say “yes you will need adhesive strips” if not then they might want to keep him away from a customer interface.

I'm sorry to hear that you only believe our service to be 3/5, but I can see that you sent your papers back to us without the vehicle being taxed which it clearly shows as being a requirement. Once your vehicle was taxed after we left you a voicemail, we organised the transfer to be completed well within our timeframe as advised. However, we hope you enjoy displaying your new plates on your new vehicle.
I felt the customer service team were rude to me when i rang up regarding changing the design of my number plates. I did not see the information when ordering stating that when requesting a personal message, it will be printed on a white background in LARGE front (not just bold). On a lip under the standard size number plate. Therefor i was told that i must purchase new number plates at the cost of £27 ! I felt there was no fantastic customer service given to me. I struggle with reading and writing so i felt the online ordering was a task itself, but i had no phone available to order over the phone. I am currently waiting for my new numbers plates to be delivered,meanwhile my old design has been fitted to my vehicle I would never use Primo again Regards James

I have taken the opportunity to listen to the conversations between you and our assistants - you even admitted that you had made the error yourself and knew that you would have to pay for a replacement set, so I assume that you meant you were not offered a free replacement? Unfortunately the plates do cost us and therefore we couldn't send out a free replacement for you. Not terribly helpful staff, a bit abrupt and the website is not transparent. Why have the need to purchase plates when there is no vehicle (yet) to attach them too! This is excessive.

I got the reg I wanted at a price that was acceptable , but the sales handler could have been a tad more friendly . Too officious and brisk for my liking . A reminder of customer service would be good .
