I was assured when I phoned about non function that the problem was my battery charger not the battery. When the new charger arrived it was clear that this was wrong have just paid £3 to return the un needed charger

Sorry to hear that. We try hard to understand issues that are described over the phone and offer the best advise in relation to the information given. We generally nail the issue first time relying upon our experience and interpretation of the information provided. It appears that we have now solved the problem and you are back on course.

I have not yet received my order of 31st July. I hope it arrives soon. I thought I would have received it by now. Very disappointed. 6/08/18 - This item has still not been delivered.

I purchased a replacement charger, but when I connected it to the battery the unit ran very hot. I sent an email to PowerBug asking if this was normal or was the unit faulty ( and possible dangerous). They initially acknowledged receipt of my email, but over a week later I am still awaiting a reply.

Hello Neil - I'm sorry but it appears that your email hasn't arrived this end. Chargers becoming warm whilst charging can be normal as the weather recently has been very hot, amplifying the running temperature of electrical items. In some cases a warmer than usual charger can also indicate your battery is coming to the end of its life. We are sorry that you feel this was however £4.50 does not cover just postage although postage, which is out of our control, does make up a larger proportion of the cost. It also covers picking, packing and materials used in the process of despatching product from us to you. All orders over £50.00 are delivered free as advertised to you before you placed your order.

This is because you purchased the product from another company......not PowerBug. We can not dictate to other retailers what product they offer and at what price they sell it for. If you purchase product from the official PowerBug web site, you will always receive exactly what you ordered and sometimes, and as a sign of appreciation, a little more!

Battery failed after 7 months it cost me to return battery it was agreed it was faulty but there was no reimbursement battery was replaced I asked for an upgrade to a lithium battery but was only offered 12.00 pound for the faulty battery I think as the product was faulty I should of been offered the full amount and my 8month old trolley is slanting to one side and all very loose I was sent some self tapping screws to repair it but its not worked so I've bought a powercaddy I will never use powerbug again WHAT A SHAME THE LAST TROLLEY I HAD WAS FAULTLESS I USED IT FOR 7 YEARS BUT NOW VERY DISSAPOINTED

Hello Dave - Sorry to hear you have decided to switch brands. I would just like to let it be known that you request was for us to upgrade your Lead Acid battery to a Lithium battery for free. Please bare in mind there is almost a £200.00 price difference between a Lead Acid and a Lithium battery. We done our best on the pricing and offered quite a substantial discount but it would be impossible for us to offer a free Lithium battery at a huge loss to ourselves. The hinge assembly can easily be rectified by giving the technical team a call on 01753 857 838 so that we can further understand the problem with the hinge and then work out the most efficient way possible to get your trolley up and running again. All the best, and we hope that one day you return to PowerBug :-)

Only used trolley 8 times , it was causing problems after just 4 times and I have to pay to get it checked, so not happy.

I ordered exactly the same small lithium battery which was included in the Powerbug electric trolley purchased 4 years ago. The new battery looks identical but is slightly larger so no longer fits my trolley. I had kept the old battery and transferred the new one into the original protective bag and this means that it partly fits my trolley. It really is not good enough when you supply spare parts for trolleys only for your customers to find the size is slightly different. Just a small difference makes a huge difference. It would be helpful if you at least had a help line for a few hours at the weekend. a 4.5 day week is not good service.

Hello - About 5 years ago we decided to add some more padding and insulation to our battery to help even further extend its already fantastic lifespan. Unfortunately this increased the size of the battery by a couple of millimetres. Newer inserts are required if the trolley was purchased more than 5 years ago, however we are happy to send these out free of charge. We're sorry to hear about your disapproval of our weekend closures, but we are a small friendly team that need to enjoy our weekends too! :-)

Ordered my powerbug on the 22nd for a golf holiday. Told that my purchase was on back order. Found it was the battery due in about the 7th and then 11th which is the day I come back from golf holiday.

Hello Mr Malcolm, Sorry for the delay with your order, unfortunately the start of the new golfing season has seen all of our Mini Lithium powered electric trolleys go out of stock entirely. We didn't quite expect these sales volumes and some of our customers didn't get their order in before the stock was depleted. In our defence we contacted you as soon as your order was placed to inform you of the stock issue and also offered a full refund. After you decided to proceed with the order we informed you of the new delivery date and also compensated you accordingly. Again, our apologies for the delay with your order but please let it be known that you did agree to the revised delivery date and was compensated accordingly :-)

I was not happy to have to pay£ 15 pounds to send my trolley back also because I had traded in my old trolley so didn't have the box ! It meant going into American golf and cadging one of their boxes !luckily I knew one of the staff and promised to go back and buy some new shoes.! The collection and return of the trolley was excellent

Hello Alexandra, Sorry for your disappointment in the £15.00 collection fee. This fee is to cover the cost of sending the courier to collect the trolley from you. We don't insist on trolleys being repaired of serviced by ourselves, and we do even encourage our customers to carry out any repairs or servicing they may need to do at home with just a very basic set of tools. We have produced and posted some repair how-to videos to our YouTube channel so that you can carry these jobs out very quickly and easily at home.

There where no instructions , only a usb stick offering instructions and registration details , I have on pc or laptop !!! When assembling the trolley the centre hinge I have to push the cable in with my finger as the hinge won’t close , The bag you offered is not waterproof , played my first round Saturday every pocket was full of water everything inside was either wet or ruined As we play in the uk climate a bag that is not waterproof is almost useless if you advertised it as not waterproof I would have taken the the accessory package Lots of members at the club showed interest in my new trolley It’s difficult to give positive feedback for a very expensive item That has yet to live upto it’s claims

Hello Bryan - The manuals are in digital format as standard however after listening to customer feedback we have decided to re-introduce the paper versions again. Please contact the team on 01753 857 838 and they will be more than happy to send out a printed version of the manual free of charge. The bag is not advertised as Waterproof but as Lightweight, we do offer a Waterproof bag on our website that would have been more suitable for yourself if waterproof material was essential. We hope you enjoy the trolley and if we can ever be of assistance with anything please do not hesitate to contact the team :-)

Hello Mr Lewis. Please note that the delivery time is 2-5 working days. These days do not include weekends. We endeavour to deliver before the 5 working day time but sometimes due to busy periods (Like the Black Friday weekend) both our dispatch team and our couriers are strained a little more than usual. We do offer a 24HR service at the very reasonable price of £4.00.

Insulated pocket far too small,internal zip no pull tag. Not entirely pleased but reduced price reasonable.

I ordered a £399 lithium powerbug trolley and 2 weeks later you were offering a free trolley bag worth £99 if ordered with the same trolley as mine. Then the other day, I ordered a brolley holder priced at £20 ( not cheap ) and the very next day you sent details of a 2 for 1 offer covering this very item. ( Pretty Miffed with you actually )

Had you have contacted us to discuss your preference we would have been able to help out. Hello Tracey - We have looked into your review and can see an order was placed for one single Umbrella Holder. Whilst the buy one get one free offer is on you must have at least two items in the cart to activate the offer. No invoice. No fitting instructions (went on internet to find out how to do it) Two items on back order - and no notification of that. Had to phone you to find that out.

Sorry about all of this. To explain.. The invoice would have automtically be sent to the e mail address that you entered at time of ordering. This is a system generated procedure. Maybe the incorrect address was entered or the invoice went to your spam file. This would also explain the back order issue as mail would have been sent advising that a back order dad been created and when you placed the order, an 'on back order' message would have been advertised before order completion and payment. The instruction manual was included on the USB card provided with the trolley.

My order was deleted and so when the batteries came in you didn't send my order. It was just as well that I phoned to see why I hadn't received the battery. Rob was very helpful in the circumstances and I received my order the next day ready to play golf.

We are sorry about this. Due to a massive surge in lithium orders we went out of stock and deliveries were delayed. The order and payment had not been actioned and when this was discovered it was processed immediately. Delivery was made on a next day promise as mentioned by the customer.
