“I didn't think the box was good value for money and not as varied as expected”

“Slow to deliver considering it was supposed to be Royal Mail 48. Ordered the ‘get well soon box and card’, didn’t ask for a message for the card which I thought was odd, so left one in the notes section. No card was included so the recipient didn’t know who it was from which is pretty useless.”

“For the first time ever I was disappointed with some of my order. I did send you a email immediately to let you know but never got any reply. The crisp and popcorn were very short dated so I could not leave them in the birthday box as I ordered it early so as not to be too disappointed if it sold out. The box and toys were fabulous as usual but the 3 pack of treats in it didn’t have a date on 2 of the bags either. I have never had treats from you before that were so short dated only 2 weeks before the use by date.”

Dear Mavis, Thank you for your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear about your experience. I have searched our support system but could not find an email from you regarding this issue. From my recollection unfortunately, the crisps and popcorn should have had a best-before date of August 4th. We are currently out of stock on crisps and popcorn due to the best-before date. However, the next batch will have a 12-week shelf life, and I would be happy to send you a complimentary replacement once they are back in stock. “The website provides 2 delivery options - 24h and 48h. I’ve specifically chosen 24h as was time sensitive. The package arrived after 4 days when it was not already needed.”

“I am pleased with the items I received but, unfortunately like other reviewers, an item was missing from my delivery. I immediately emailed the company as it was still four working days until pooch’s birthday but six days later still no acknowledgment/ reply and birthday been and gone.”

“Nice idea i guess! It looks nice for pictures on your dogs birthday, but that's about it really No clear ingredients on the website, is it for humans or gor dogs ? Tried it and the top bit taste like chocolate Also the main base is very dry Also picture print looks cheap and so thin as barely wet it and you risk ruining it , colors also bland Nice presentation with bones around the cake and the bow don't get me wrong Totally overpriced though Best thing is probably the threats that we got extra , the pooch loved it Again nice for a picture but worthwhile it ?? Probs not But something different i guess”

“The delivery was fast, but the cake was rock hard, I know it said "crunchy" on the box, but my dog really struggled to try and eat some of it. Threw it away, will remember not to order "crunchy" next time.”

“Sizes of cakes are not mentioned in the description, £25.00 for the size of a Bakewell tart. Excellent communication and excellent service, my dog loved his cake unfortunately his friends couldn’t as it was so small. Please illustrate sizes of cakes in future and I will order again.”

Hi Deborah, I've just checked your order and the cake you received is the exact same cake, the colour of the bones have just changed colour we're due to update the website this week. Other than the bone colour though it is the same cake. Sorry about that though if you email us on support@postmanpooch.zendesk.com we can give you a £5 voucher for this mishap. “The delivery was super quick But the items were much to be desired the cake was nice but the hat was just too small especially for a big dog, could I suggest that the hat gets an elasticated band to allow it to fit most if not all dogs other than that there was no other problems everything else was as great”

“It was a lovely box overall. Just very disappointed that the peanut butter had such a short best before date (22/07/22) As there is no chance I am over treating my dogs just to get through it. The toys and cakes were received well by both of my doggies.”
