My family ordered me a mystery luxury box set which when arrived was beautifully assembled. However the contents were not exactly what I liked and so when trying to return, this process was extremely difficult. The items I returned and the money I got back was a significant difference in price due to apparently return postage costs and apparently they don’t make money on the boxes so That needs to be taken into account. I expected £60 returned and only got £42 - however I paid for the items to be returned. All in all I was very disappointed with the service of this company and do not believe they adhered to their returns policy and will not recommend or use this company ever again. There is no second chance as a first encounter and my first encounter was very poor. Look for another company to use!

Hi Joshua, Thank you for your review. I am disappointed you feel this way, especially after our email conversations. We made it easy for you to return the items in your box and gave a refund for them within hours of receiving them back - we could not refund you directly as you were not the one who purchased the gift but we did offer you to choose something else or refund the person who sent you the gifts (which is what we did). Mystery gift boxes contain gifts that we hope will be appreciated by as many recipients as possible and we are sorry you didn't like the items we chose - which is why we refunded you for them when returned. We cannot, for obvious reasons, accept any edible items back to us and this is clear in our returns policy. I know you were disappointed by this and I can only apologise that this is so. Each mystery box contains items of a value higher than the box itself, as explained when we emailed, which is why we could not refund you the £60 you expected as this was not even the value of the items purchased in your box or as part of the mystery box. I could tell you were disappointed when we were emailing and I was only trying to help, even offering you to choose something for free with an order or for me to send you a voucher. As you didn't respond I thought you were happy with the outcome. We are a small team here and do not want anyone to feel disappointed so please get in touch if there is anything further we can do to make you feel better about your experience.

I love your service it's quick and quirky. The gifts are beautifully wrapped- the recipients loved the wrapping - and the gifts are well researched to keep it fresh. The best present and gift service ever .. I would recommend that everyone use it. I recently had a small technical issue which was again dealt with quickly, efficiently and hassle free. I discovered Postboxed from an online search and am so pleased I did as it provided a unique, easy and practical way to send a last minute gift to a friend for her birthday. Great that there are no concerns about the recipient being out when the item is delivered, as it just fits through the letterbox! I would definitely use them again. My friend loved her gin-themed box.

Hi Karen, Thank you for your order and review. Your order was placed a week ago today and was sent out the same day by us. As it was being sent abroad deliveries are estimated to take 3 to 5 working days (this does not include weekends or public holidays). August the 15th was a public holiday in the destination of your gift and this could have delayed the gift - so it isn't even out of the estimated delivery time yet. First order was for my niece, a hard back birthday book by A.A. Milne. Fantastic quality! And alongside a birthday girl badge, the old school kind. Absolutely brilliant! My niece loved her gift. I love PostBoxed so much, I’m back again for another birthday gift as my friend lives 200 miles away... perfect solution!
