The follow up: checking If everything is going great. The cleaning once a week which was very well done. A clean and very well designed house. One thing was wrong is that The house was very got.

The flat I stayed in Wormwood Street was very nice, clean and the infrastructure was new (refigerator, oven, microwave, shower etc). They need to improve their services and communications among staff, because they usually commited to respond one of my requests and the person in the other shift was not aware of my request (such as air bed delivery in a specific date and time). And climbing 3 floors by stairs everydy was not the best part of my time there. Overall it was a pleasant stay. thanks

Hi Laila, Thank you very much for taking the time to give us feedback; I'm happy to read that on the whole you were happy with the apartment and your stay with Portland Brown. I can only apologise for the inconvenience caused with the mix up around your requested extra bed. We have systems and checks in place to ensure whoever is working can easily see what has been requested by a guest and I can't see how these have failed on this occasion but I will be investigating further. I certainly agree with you that a lift would make your day more enjoyable! However, we have around 400 apartments throughout London and they vary, not on quality, but on location and type of building. Unfortunately this means that some are architecturally older and a lift just isn't possible in these cases. I hope it didn't take away from your stay with us too much. Once again, thank you so much for your feedback; you are no doubt very busy and we appreciate the opportunity to improve our services and in this case; to take a look at how we communicate within the team. Excellent location with sufficient space and equipment for extended stay. Quick response in case of equipment trouble (I got no hot water at the middle of my stay but solved pretty soon) and satisfactory clean up. Only problem I had was the floor creaks when I walk over, but it is not intolerable.

The staffs are friendly and helpful, the apartment is clean. It will be better if the internet is more stable.

Overall the experience was fine and the apartment was lovely, however Portland visited the apartment far too many times for client viewings, landlord viewings etc. with little to no notice. They also turned up unannounced. When I requested housekeeping come on a different day, they always turned up on the wrong day, even when they advised that they wouldn't. I also received constant emails asking if everything was ok, which was irritating. If I had an issue, I would contact them, I don't need to be asked every few days if everything is ok.

Hi Lauren, Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that you experienced issues when requesting your cleans on different days. I will be addressing this with our housekeeping team to ensure that this does not happen again. I can see that we did access your apartment for some routine maintenance such as electrical appliance testing. These are required to ensure everything is working as it should however I appreciate that it can be disruptive. From looking into your account, I can see that we requested access when we did attend. We try to give our guests a minimum of 24 hours notice if we need to attend for any reason. I am sorry if this was not the case on every occasion, I will be addressing this with all teams as well. We send out courtesy emails to ensure our guests are as comfortable as possible, I apologise if you found these irritating. We are able to stop sending these if guests require us to. Your hospitality was so nice, thank you. I might only recommend you to deploy few more plates, glasses and cutlery in the kitchen; we had to use the dishwasher before it was completely full, as we had been running out of clean kitchenware.

Customer service is excellent. Response to requests is very quick and polite. The flat was in a really nice condition and cleaning service did a great job. I enjoyed staying with Portland Brown very much.

The apartment location was great and the staff fantastic in making us feel welcome. The challenge was that we had a broken drain in one of the bathrooms that in the 2 months we stayed there, was never repaired. There were 3 or 4 attempts to do so, but the problem remained. That apartment should not be rented out again until the root cause of the problem is found and addressed. It is unhealthy, particularly for children.

We do have a record of you reporting this on three occasions and we responded to clear the drains each time although no blockage was found, we did use drain unblocker to make sure the water was running freely. My overall rating is between Good and Very Good, actually. I really enjoyed living at Flat 53 of 1 Lamb's Passage. 1) On arrival, I did not have any issue for entering the flat and I was comfortable with an initial explanation for the flat. 2)Your Guest Relations was very prompt in replying and taking an action. 3) Weekly cleaning was very good and cleaned the flat well 4) I had no issue at all for connecting internet that was very important for me 5) I felt you always tried to help/support me as much as possible. 6) The flat was a little bit small but it was all right for one or two person 7) Balcony was good, particularly this kind of season. Anyway, thank you very much indeed for your support I was at Flat 53.

The service quality was excellent and the Portland Brown team always available/responsive in case there were any issues to be fixed. The apartment was airy, bright and modern and cleaning was always reliable and at a high standard. The "starter kit" and information provided at the beginning of the stay was very useful. To sum up, Portland Brown provided a well maintained and equipped apartment and excellent service. I very much enjoyed my stay and would always recommend Portland Brown to friends and colleagues.

The response time for questions I had was always very fast and very much appreciated! The staff always tried to be as helpful as possible. Things I would improve: (1) Add more information to the appliance manual. For example, there was a switch in the top cabinet of the kitchen which controlled the vent hood light. Someone turned this on during a viewing of the apartment, but we had to have maintenance come to figure out how to turn it off (since it wasn't intuitive and there was no information in the manual). Adding a little more information to the manual would help us be able to troubleshoot things ourselves vs. having to get someone to come for small tasks. (2) Increase the internet speed - the internet would die about once a day towards the end of our stay, which caused a number of issues. (3) Wherever possible, have the housekeeping come at a set time each week. I had to work from the apartment sometimes, and I never knew on the cleaning day which time they would arrive (making it challenging sometimes to plan the day / arrange work calls).

The switch you have mentioned sounds like it would be an isolation switch and there should be a light-switch on the oven hood itself, this should be in the welcome folder so I will ensure this is put in place. I do not have a record of the internet cutting out in this apartment, however I will now investigate both of these issues with my team. Service was fantastic. I was met promptly and taken to my apartment which was beautiful. It was stocked so i didnt need anything except food. Thoughtfully provisions were put in so i didnt need to shop for a few days. The weekly clean was great. The location fantastic and the gym and pool a bonus. Its real value for money and i couldnt recommend it enough. I had a fantastic stay

Overall experience was very positive. I was very happy with the flat and Portland Brown was extremely fast to respond to any issue I run by them. There were a couple of issues with the flat during my 2-month-long stay, but Portland Brown did everything in their power to help resolve them quickly.
