“Great party. A very happy 12 year old. The communication in advance was good. The party host was very friendly and helpful. All ran very smoothly and according to plan. Would recommend.”

“I was really nervous when I hired pop up arcade as this was they first time I had planned a VR party for my kids. Kevin and Ben did a fabulous job at setting up the space in the house with caution and introducing the game to the kids. They were very good at minding the kids and making sure the kids had fun while keeping a safe distance from each other. The games were really fun and all the kids enjoyed the party. I will be hiring them again for my future events.”

“Had this for my Sons 10th birthday. All the kids absolutely loved it. Great to able to do all this in our home. Gave them more time to have fun either side of the gaming. Josh was amazing. His interaction with all the kids was great. He gamed with them and game them loads of tips. I could just sit back and let them all enjoy themselves. Very much recommend”

“We used Pop Up Arcade for son's 10th birthday. The kids all loved it and even asked if they could come again next year. We paid a little extra for the two racing cars and extra large screen, and it was well worth it. My son hogged the racing game. The virtual reality goggles were a hit too. Harry, the games master from Pop Up Arcade, was a wonderful fair and organising and helping all the kids with the games. I'd definitely recommend it and will be doing it again next year!”

“A great option for a party at home - we had a group of 11-year-olds who enjoyed trying out the variety of games available. The host was on hand to help them get started and provide any technical support. Set-up and clear-up was straightforward and communication with the team was good all the way through the process. Would 100% recommend Pop Up arcade.”

“This has been a second party we booked with Pop Up Arcade. Ben was great with the kids, he was engaging all the children. My son said that it was best party ever and all the guests were commenting how much fun they had. I will defiantly be booking again! And I recommend to any friends.”

“Excellent equipment , car racing very popular , but a little upset the two hosts went on the car racing for around 15 minutes of our hour and half booking , the hosts wanted to challenge one of our service users to a race , but at the same time one of our service users was waiting to have ago , the service user did get a short go but at 8 o’clock the host said time was up , if the had allowed him to carry on playing till 8.10pm I would not be upset .”

Hi Darren, Very sorry if there was some confusion with the racing seats, with this being an event for adults with physical and learning disabilities we found communication a little tricky on the day. Challenging our guests to play against us is something we do to actively encourage everyone to get involved in the event. In this case, one of the guests seemed to be struggling to get involved and our host took the empty racing chairs as an opportunity to encourage them to play by challenging them to a race. Our hosts genuinely had no idea that someone was waiting to have a go, had they known that someone was waiting for a turn they would have happily given up their seat. We were also never asked to stay any longer, had our hosts known that someone felt they missed out they would have absolutely stayed the extra few minutes. I think if we have the opportunity to work together again we should maybe arrange a call beforehand to develop strategies to help us all communicate better on the day.

“This was an excellent, easy party for my 8 year old son. Everyone enjoyed it and I didn't really have to do anything - ideal! ;) The games master made everything run smoothly and helped all the kids to have fun. Would definitely recommend them.”

“We had a VR Party hosted by Ben. Our lot really enjoyed the whole experience, were very noisy and demanding but Ben had the patience of a saint and managed the herd like a pro. Lovely chap, he and the whole were worth every penny. Thanks so much!”

“We booked Pop-Up Arcade's Gaming Tent for our son's 12th birthday. Our host arrived in good time and set up the tent. Our son and his friends had a fantastic experience and enjoyed using all of the gaming equipment. The tent was large and spacy and looked fab. Our host was great, she was really helpful and great at gaming!”
