“I read reviews online before I booked. The concept seemed ideal - I wanted the convenience of being at home and someone knowledgeable to run it and a small group of kids to fit into my small lounge. Good news - it was great. From the moment Nico arrived per schedule at set up until the end of the booked slot, time seemed to fly by. Nico was really approachable and full of positive energy and made sure they all tried everything they wanted to. He was flexible with the space, a great problem solver and made the whole experience really easy. My son was very happy trying out different consoles and was able to impress and play with his friends. The loved trying out the VR too. Thank you.”

“This is the 3rd time we've used Pop Up Arcade and they just keep getting better and better. The kids were kept totally entertained throughout the duration of the party and Jordan was so good with them. The equipment provided was excellent and the set up was quick and with minimal distruption and once cleared away it was left exactly how it was prior to the party. So so impressed once again!”

“So easy to book, very clear communication and pricing structure. Our host Nikko was friendly and knowledgeable, everything ran very smoothly and the kids were happy and entertained, I had very little to do during the party itself so totally stress free! Would recommend :-)”

“Amazing and fun experience for my son's 10th birthday party. I have used pop up before and it was hit hence why I went for them again. The most talked about party! Nico was great with the kids, entertaining and fun. He played with the kids and was on hand to help. One suggestion apparently Pop Up Arcade have a lot more packages that are not advertised especially for the girls. But now that Nico has told me I will be coming back for my daughters party. Thank you so much Pop up Arcade & especially NICO 😁”

“A brilliant party for our 8 year old and 9 of his friends. Excellent communication from first enquiring about the party to the actual day of the party. Nice extra touches like sweets, t-shirt for the birthday boy and magazines for all the guests. Party host was lovely chatting to my children whilst setting up and took charge of the party as soon as the children arrived. Gaming tent was set up and put away quickly. Everyone has said what a great party it was!”

“The whole party from booking to the packing up was super smooth. Mike was a lovely party host. He had the kids all engaged and having loads of fun for the whole 90 minutes. My son and his friends all had a brilliant time, they had plenty of space in the party tent to move around and play different games with each other.”

“Amazing! Arrived just as stated, tent was in excellent condition and we had an extended porch on which meant there were 2 gaming areas. Kids loved it, didn't hear a peep out of them for the whole 2 hours. Jordan was brilliant, very friendly, was in the tent with the kids the whole time helping them change games, or to different consoles even having battles with them on some games. Would 100% book again.”

“Had the pop up tent gaming party for my 9yr old and 14 of his friends. The boys had a great time "best party ever" is what I have heard from many of the childrens parents. Communication from company was great and party host James was really good with the children and kept them entertained for the whole time. Would definitely recommend.”

“We booked the girls VR party for 6 players, along with the pop-up tent. The booking process was a pain; I was unable to book what I wanted online and had to phone. During this, and many subsequent calls and emails, I received conflicting information regarding the space needed and number of players I could have. Eventually it was agreed we'd have a 6x3m tent for 6 players yet I had to keep checking this was correct as the info repeatedly emailed through said 4 players plus 2 extra OR a tent. I also ordered 6 party bags, as part of the package, with all 8 items available yet the order was put through as 5 bags with half the content. This was rectified one week before but still, it was added stress. I didn't ever feel complete confidence in what we'd get on the day. When the host arrived, he said he'd been given a 7x3m tent as it had been assumed that their square tent (?!) wouldn't have fitted in our garden?!! None of this was ever discussed with us. Thankfully we we were able to accomodate the 7x3m tent. It was a beautifully sunny day and apparently, had we had the square tent - which we didn't know anything about - the equipment wouldn't have worked in such conditions! The players struggled enough in the tent we did have, with one of my guests getting upset because her VR set wasn't working due to the sun! We were never warned this could be the case. It felt a bit shambolic from booking through to playing, to the point that I asked the host if Pop Up Arcade were a new company. Additionally leading up to the party, we received an email saying "About a week before your party, you'll get a package from us with the... Pick and Mix for the party. Your host will bring the Pick and Mix jars and table with them on the day and will set everything up once they arrive". On the day, we asked our host if he wanted the pick n mix we'd been sent, and were told 'most parents just put them in a bowl and hand them out'. Ok.... Overall, the party was a success and everyone had fun but honestly, this was really just testment to the lovely group of girls we had playing, rather than anything Pop Up Arcade specifically did.”
