Pole has still not arrived, it should have arrived on the 19th Dec, it has according to the track it has been sat in their Bristol depot since the 20th Dec? What is going on? Why send a survey before checking i have received the order? not very good service

The customer ordered a Silent Gliss made to measure pole on the 15.12.16 which was on a 3/4 working day lead time. The Tuffnells tracking shows that both parcels 2/2 were signed for on the specified delivery date of 21.12.16. We have now been told that they did receive both parcels on the correct day.

We can throughly recommend Pole Design. Karen has been very helpful on both the initial order, which was quickly and securely dispatched in September, and again this week in the lead up to Christmas. Our curtains required two extra glides on the Metroflat track which only became apparent late Monday afternoon (19th December). We phoned Karen to see if she could help and were very grateful when she said she would post them off the same day. They arrived Tuesday, the following day, and we now have our new curtains hung and looking great on the Silent Gliss track. Many thanks Karen for your swift assistance. Regards John and Jean Locke

The customer wanted to return a pole set length 240cm because she ordered the wrong size. We offered to uplift the pole set via Tuffnells Long and Heavy goods service at a cost of £25 or the customer could return at her own expense. This is inline with other online retailers. The customer declined both offers as wanted us to pay for the return. We do not offer exchanges of goods.

Excellent all round! Website was easy to use so I could find what I needed very quickly. I ordered the goods at 4 in the afternoon and they arrived the following morning just after 9. The goods were very well packed with a chunky piece of timber included to make sure there was no possibility of the contents being damaged en route. Faultless.

Exactly what it said on the tin. Not all dimensions of the ceiling brackets on the website, this would have helped but looks good anyway.

MULTIPLE MISTAKES AND INCORRECT WEBSITE INFORMATION. WHAT A SHAMBLES. I ordered a Silent Gliss pole and extra gliders from Pole Design. Half of my order wasn't sent and the rail was incorrectly made up as per my order. They state that additional gliders are sold in packs of 25 and after forgetting to send mine they posted me out 10. After contacting them and telling them I had paid for 25 gliders, Pole Design said they would send out another 10. The gliders sent aren't the same as those shown on the website. They have the SAME picture on the website for 2 different kinds of gliders. They don't accept that they have copied the wrong PDF picture onto their website for the glider I ordered. They sent me an email saying I could return the pole and then denied this when I spoke to them. They had sent me another customers email! I contacted them again to get the missing end gliders and they sent out the wrong gliders. They don't fit on the rail. Before writing this review I gave Pole Design many opportunities to sort out their catalogue of errors and acknowledge their website errors but they haven't. I still don't have a functioning pole as per my order. I therefore can't recommend Pole Design

The customer purchased a 23mm Metropole with standard 3534 gliders. She received the order and then said that the wrong gliders had been installed on the pole. She said she wanted Wave gliders. The 23mm Metropole is not compatible with Wave gliders and It is not stated on the website that it should be. We will arrange to send out the missing 15 standard 3534 gliders and another 2 extra 3070 stops today. As there is only one glider in existence that fits onto the channel on the 23mm pole it is impossible that the incorrect gliders have been fitted. The customer failed to mention that we sent out two Silent Gliss Silver draw rods as a goodwill gesture to the retail value of £20 with her original order which was under £80. This was her second order and the first was received with no complaint

My first order did not arrive on time. After 11 days, I sent reminder email and it arrived soon after. My second order arrived on the day specified, but was sent to the billing address, not the shipping address.

My expensive curtain pole was delivered whilst I was out. I expected the delivery driver to require a signature, but obviously not, as the pole was put over my side gate. No note was put through the door to tell me it had been delivered to this place I found pole by chance! The pole has some minor scratches and the wrong endcaps. I phoned Pole design who said they would get back to me by email. Four days later no such email has arrived just a link to review, hence negative review.

Dear Sarah We are sorry that the delivery people left the pole without a signature and that the pole was damaged. As soon as I was notified of this I contacted our Supplier on Thursday afternoon. You need to allow 48 working hours for us to investigate with Tuffnells. The factory is now closed until Monday morning. I feel this is very unfair to leave such a negative review when we have not had the chance to investigate. We will get back you on Monday morning with a update and we will of course send out a replacement for the damaged pole.

Whilst the product is excellent, the main concern I have is with the after sales which after many calls and emails I have still not heard anything! I needed an additional pole and since I did not hear from anyone after spending almost 600 pounds, I have placed an order online on Thursday for a neo pole and paid as well and was expecting ' a next day delivery' but have still not heard from anyone...

Dear Anupreet. Your order was placed and delivered on the 11th July. You did not confirm the parts you wanted to return until 23rd August when you came back from your holiday. This was then outside our 30 day Returns Policy. We spent a lot of time assisting you with window design to make sure you got what you wanted.. At no time did we state that we could cut Neo poles to length prior to delivery but we indicated on the invoice what length you should cut each piece with a hacksaw to fit your window. Your latest order has been processed on a free next working day delivery service. Your account was updated just after we received your order both with a Processed message and a Dispatched message with the tracking code. These may be in your Spam or Clutter file for which we cannot be held responsible. I have also emailed you separately this morning with screenshots of these. Your order is out for delivery today Monday 17.10.16 between 9am and 5pm.

Had a problem with a ceiling bracket which was faulty. Rang to arrange for a replacement which I am happy to say was sent out the same day foc. Helpful staff and excellent service.

I found dealing with your company a real pleasure. My email was answered quickly, the samples arrived promptly and my order arrived as instructed. I appreciated being informed of the day of delivery. However my Silent Gliss Metroflat curtain rail was disappointing. But this is what I've come to expect in this 'less than perfect' world we now inhabit. The design is brilliant, but the quality of the metal finish had minor flaws [ oblivious when hanging on the wall - I will admit] and the plastic covers for the brackets were a cheap finish. But as I say, only to be expected in the 21st century. The balance of these imperfections was the service and professionalism of Pole Design, which I could not fault.

Reference Order Number 033602/1 of 30/08/2016 SIENNA 35mm dia. 360cm WHITE We assembled and erected this curtain pole yesterday. The fitting instructions made no mention of allowing for the curtain drop (in our case, to the floor) when positioning the height of the brackets nor do they mention using a spirit level to ensure that such a long pole length is horizontal. The order of tasks could be clearer. For example, for a pole in two sections one needs to join these together first and then position the centre bracket as a pivotal point to ensure both end brackets accommodate a horizontal fixing. Fixing the two pole sections securely together is crucial and requires a good deal of attention. The erected pole looks good and we plan to hang our new curtains this week!
