“I finally received my order and whilst the brackets were fine, the packaging was completely destroyed which could have resulted in damaged goods. I informed Pole Design - with photos - who responded by telling me my complaint was passed to Tuffnells - but no apology was made by Pole Design who I purchased from.”

The Client's order was dispatched on schedule within 2/3 business days and she was notified as out for delivery by Tuffnell's on Wednesday 19.07.17. The goods were misrouted by Tuffnells and then delivered on Monday 24.07.17. The customer emailed us at 6am this morning to tell us that the packaging was damaged and that the goods were damaged. She emailed us again 10 minutes later to tell us they were not damaged and to ignore her email. She then then emailed us an hour later wanting an apology for the damaged packaging. We believe this person is behaving unreasonably and the review is disproportionate and we do not want to deal with her again. Of course if the goods had been damaged they would have been replaced immediately and without question.

“The item has not been delivered following multiple enquiries back with the company; refund has been refused. We will now need to reach out to consumer watchdog to assist us in claiming costs back.”

The customer ordered two made to measure tracks on 29.06.17. These items have an estimated lead time of 4/5 working days. We notified the customer on dispatch and the items were due to be delivered on Monday 10.07.17.; working day 6. However, the delivery Company have been unable to locate the address. We feel the customer has been extremely premature in posting this review given the goods are still in transit. Made to measure items cannot be refunded as they cannot be resold and this is clearly stated on our Terms and Conditions. We would be happy to talk to Consumer Watchdog. Can you please confirm urgently your delivery details so we can deliver tomorrow Wednesday.

“We ordered an antique brass curtain pole and finials. The delivery arrived within the indicated lead time, however, the finials were in antique silver rather than brass. After a quick email to Pole Design replacement finials arrived two days later without any hassle and no need to return the incorrect ones. Top service and the product is quality!”

“Goods delivered were ok, but delivery firm was terrible. Did not deliver when expected and when phoned and new date was arranged didn't turn up. Eventually re-arranged for delivery to work address which always had someone present in working hours.”

We are sorry you had problems with the delivery Company. Due to the nature of the product we have to use a specialist Company who we find normally very reliable, however they cannot always work round schedules when people are at home. We are glad you are happy with the products supplied by Pole Design

“Having searched so many suppliers for Curtain Draw Rods we were very happy to find them with Pole Design. Very fast delivery. Although we unfortunately had one damaged, Karen sorted this out and immediately despatch a replacement. Excellent service thank you so much.”

“We placed a large order of 10 Silent Gliss tracks and we quickly received a detailed CAD design to proof check our order, as a result we made some final adjustments. Throughout the process, the customer service was excellent and quick to respond to both emails and calls. The curtain rails, especially the bay window bends, were crafted to a very high standard and exactly to our specifications. The items were delivered promptly and were very well padded for transport. The bay windows specifically were fixed on a wooden frame for additional support to avoid damage in transit. We are very pleased with the service and would happily recommend Pole Design, especially if you have a more complicated order. * Helpful customer service, quick to respond to emails and little wait on calls. * Flexible service. * CAD designs for bay window bends. * High quality of workmanship. * Very quick delivery. * Excellent packaging and instructions.”

“Love the product; good quality and delivered in plenty of protective packaging, would buy from here again. Only downside with service was on order, no precise delivery date was given (I think that was because this product is made to order). When I chased for a delivery date, no response received but pole arrived a few days later taking 15 days in total for delivery.”

Thank you for your comments. Including the Easter holidays which are not counted as working days the pole was delivered on schedule - 9 working days from order. The estimated lead time for this brand is 7/10 working days as the poles are made to order. Your account was updated with a delivery date and was emailed the day before delivery. You may want to check your spam and clutter folder in case you missed the delivery notification

“Overall, very pleased. Had one small grub screw missing from a bracket fitting which was posted out straightaway. However, we needed to purchase two extra corner brackets but this company charge a flat rate postage fee which is too high for small items which could easily be posted in small jiffy back. So purchased these from another company to cut cost.”
