“I have had an excellent 3 months and look forward to the second half of my time coming up soon. The charity are so accommodating from signing up, preparing to leave, arriving and leaving. I would recommend volunteering to anyone, everyone has something they can get out of it.”

“Pod volunteer site is inaccurate and has extremely out of date information and photos. It does not give a true reflection of what to expect at the Cheetah project. Although I had an amazing experience, many future volunteers could be disappointed by being misled by the Pod site, which was the case with some of the guys I volunteered with.”

“4eeeks at knysna park S.A Volunteering with Elephants at a Research park. And it was a truely amazing experience. I was a little nervous travelling by myself but with POD's organisation and communication helping every step of the way it made the whole experience very easy. I would recommend anyone considering voluntary work. stop thinking about it and do it. I feel pretty proud and honoured to of participated in such worthy research I also got to meet some very nice people and see some of this beautiful country.”

“I have been to many different animal projects with pod and have had an amazing experience each time. The projects are so worthwhile and you get to meet and spend time with so many incredible people and animals. I would highly recommend pod if youre thinking of volunteering.”

“Fantastic time, thoroughly enjoyed the majority of things, involved with cheetahs. Wonderful experience, would definitely repeat, in a heartbeat. Everyone should volunteer. Nothing strenuous. There was only one downside for me, but expected - slaughtering horses, but they have to eat folks!! Kruger trip is a must if not experienced. Our trip was extremely lucky, encountered the 'big five' first morning, wow. Sadden didn't get to see the honey badger/wild dogs/cheetah in natural environment, can't have everything. Team involved at the centre, great and knowledgeable. Basic accommodation, but expected. Nothing bad about my experience. Just volunteer however brief.”

“This is the second project I have been on with PodVolunteer and I am already looking forward to my next trip. The service provided by Pod is next to nothing. They assist you in a very helpful and friendly manner all the way through, from preparation before your arrival, during your stay, and after you've returned back home. I would highly recommend doing something good for the world through PodVolunteering.”

“We volunteered through POD at the children's home of Baan San Fan in April 2015 as a family of 2 adults and 3 teenagers. POD were brilliant at organising everything and the whole trip went so smoothly. They do a great job, all teh admininistration side of things, great communication. The experience was amazing for all of us, and a privilege to be able to experience it. I would highly recommend POD as a volunteer organisation.”

“Very informative, very helpful and quick to answer any questions I had. Kept in contact with me even while I was on project, that was reassuring especially when your half way around the world on your own. I will be using POD for all my volunteering adventures in the future.”

“pod volunteering was an amazing company to go through I've looked at volunteer work before but no company answered my questions to the extent pod did, they made me feel comfortable through the whole process and beccy was amazing, answering all my questions no matter how small or rediculous she always got back to me amazingly fast and even let me through even with such short notice! I honestly cannot recommend pod enough the experience I had in Cambodia was life changing and something I will never forget and if it wasn't for beccy and the team making me feel so safe and comfortable i never would have had the courage to go ahead and do it, it was their reassurance that Pushed me to go work in the orphanage, I actually cannot thank you enough for your help, support and patience it was an incredible experience and I will definitely be going back to Kai's village and looking at other projects with pod that interest me”

“POD ladies were very kind and helpful, but when I talked with other people by the Sanctuary in Thailand I discover that they paid much less than me! Anyway these volunteering experiences are for young people, now i know, as it was a lonely week. But elephants were great! also, you advised me to buy a net for mosquitos, which i did (44 €) but there was no way to place it: no hook, nothing.”
