Engineer never turned up on the specified day, turned up 3 days later. Was able to charge the car on the day the pod point was installed. Hasn’t worked since, the earliest appointment for an engineer visit is 8 days later. Brilliant customer service and car!!!!!

Awful service, ordered 2 chargers and they fitted first one in wrong place! Nightmare to try and get resolved after numerous calls, emails and speaking to half a dozen people finally got correct charger installed, not a good customer experience.

Well it is now showing a red light which according to the manual sys it has a fault, not bad after 4 days! and no charging. Bargepoles anyone?

The actual installation was fine, but unfortunately everything prior to that was disastrous. From a payment link not working to being repeatedly told incorrect information, to then being tagged as maintenance instead of Installation the whole process took several months and I will not be recommending Podpoint as a company to do business with. I only hope that if I have any issues during my 3 year warranty I will be able to resolve them in a much shorter time than this episode has taken to conclude

Disorganised when it comes to doing the job. Very quick to take the payment. Have totally lost confidence in Podpoint and have asked for a full refund. 10 days later I'm still waiting. Very unhappy. Steer clear in my opinion.

The pod point only worked for one night. Next day, the cable and plug has been replaced with a new one, but the pod point did not charge since. Disappointed with the result after spending a small fortune on this installation, but not being able to use it until an engineer will arrive to fix it.

Email communication didn't go well. Domestic junior project manager did not communicate what I needed very well. I asked for a phone call but did not acknowledge. Finally, someone kindly requested a home survey which was quite simple. I would have saved some time going through all this.

Awful service. Slow installation with lots of issues from beginning to end. If I hadn’t paid for it already and my car was due to be delivered, I would have tried to find someone else. Engineer that actually did the install was great but despite that I would not recommend.

Nice guy who attended but Podpoint put barriers in the way of it being connected inside the garage. Ecstatic is important to me but the unit is now fitted externally and the brickwork / render on my house is badly damaged. It works fine but I'm extremely unhappy and hope this review prompts a reply from PP.

Up to now I can just say a rubbish service. The charger is not working, and the problem has not been solved even though I reported it months ago. The charger has also not been attached properly to the wall and is falling off on one side. Support is very slow and is not solving the problem at all.

If I could give 0 stars I would! My charger will only charge at half speed on a scheduled charge (which I need to use to benefit from my cheaper overnight electricity tariff). 7 weeks on since first raising this issue! Communication is truly shocking, even now it has been escalated to complaint level and still no solution to the issue with the charger. It strikes me that this company has taken on way more than it is capable of dealing with - would strongly recommend against anyone giving this company any more business as they clearly are not equipped to deal with taking on any more customers!

Salient points - unexpected charges after placing order and this home charger is slower than comparable chargers by other brands (e.g. Zappi and Ohme Pro) I ordered the pod point having had a discussion with the sales team who seemed to know what they were talking about. I had already received quotes from electricians for other EV chargers which were more competitive, but figured i'd spend more to go directly with Pod Point who offer a supply and install service. I knew I needed consumer unit tails upgrading as part of the installation as other electricians had advised the same - the pod point sales team confirmed that they would do this as part of the 'standard install'. However, this is when the trouble started - the installer arrived as planned and started the installation, but half-way through (after the wallbox was mounted and holes drilled for cables) told me that they are not qualified to do anything to do with changing consumer unit tails - the are only qualified to fit the charger (this was obviously completely in contrast to what I had been told at the time of ordering). This led to a series of delays and emails to and from my project manager (Dawn) who just seemed to reply with the same generic responses every few days - not helpful at all. I was told that (despite them telling me that everything would be included as part of the standard install) they could not complete some of the work that was required and that I would need to get my own electrician in to do some of the work and then call them back to finish the installation. Long story short, I ended up paying for a private electrician to do some of the work in order for Pod Point to complete the install - I was not offered any compensation or solutions for the misselling. The price they quote is NOT a fully installed price and they take no accountability for misleading you at the time of purchase. Furthermore, now that it is all installed, my real-time charge speed is no more than 6.8Kw (with all new upgraded electrics and nothing running in the background) and I see from online posts that others have similar experiences (Zappi and Ohme can charge at up to 7.4Kw - almost 10% faster!). In the end, I stuck with pod point because I had already started the process when the problems arose and I needed the charger ASAP. If I were to do it again, I would avoid like the plague and stick with better brands like Zappi or Ohme and get an electrician in to provide an all-inclusive price for the work.

I paid for a mechanical lock and you didn't install it. It's now been 10 days, we've called you twice and you've told us you will get someone to contact us each time, and no one has contacted us. I've just tried to call you again and seem to get a voicemail whichever of the many, many options I select on your phone line. Can someone please call me as soon as possible to get this sorted.

Sent pictures through numerous times has to pull out washing machine and at least 3 pictures of the meter box this process went on for months

Paid the unit and installation fee up front, waited for 2 weeks to receive a non-standard quote. Received nothing, cancelled and now have to wait 5-14 for a refund.

Really bad experience unit was installed by Pod Point engineer unit failed to work on the day, engineer failed to return to found fault, countless phone calls, countless managers broken promises to call back to resolve issue, missed appointment because engineer was ill which can happen but no cancellation call from Pod Point wasted a day off work and had to call them to found out why the engineer didn't turn up. It took nearly 3 weeks for an engineer to reset the software which they did remotely. Was going to use Pod Point to install at the Office definitely staying well clear of this company. One star is too much

Very poor charging speed - over 12 hours to charge from 38% to full. It is no quicker than the 3 pin plug, despite website saying 6 hours from empty to full on my car make and model Very slow response to app based inquiries. Can’t link app to home charging device

Very helpful on phone until payment made. We responded to emails requesting photographs etc. We then received another email advising us that, from the information given, our property looked suitable for the installation to be made and offering a date. I accepted the date and that is where your interest in your customer ends. I tried to phone with some useful supplementary information but was abruptly cut off as soon as you were given my reference number. I then sent an email and received a reply stating that someone would "reach out". They did not.
