Poor communication, failed to organise a date to install, install failed in 2 days, took about 2 weeks to send someone to repair and 3 or 4 calls from me to make this happen. Now the charger is repaired, it doesn't interact properly with ID3. Then again, more often than not the app fails to work anyway. Can't set schedule as app collapses.

Unit didn’t work after installation, got a work around but awaiting visit to try and fix. Really disappointed as I waited a long time for it. App is really poor as Scheduling doesn’t work, which maybe part of the issues with the unit.

AVOID USING PODPOINT. Their scheduling teams don't contact you if there's any sort of delay on the day with installing. Twice they failed appointments with me before and after Christmas and failed to contact me to notify me that they were not turning up. Sounds like I'm going to go on a rant but customers expect that if you're given a date then the company providing the service adheres to it.........well, not PodPoint and they don't feel as though they have to contact their customers either. I've written in and complained - again, don't both as you just get fobbed off with "we need to get you installed first before we look at your complaint" - not according to their own internal complaints process! I'm still waiting for the complaints team to respond to my complaint even after they have completed the installation. Absolutely shocking customer service. Vauxhall should also disassociate themselves with this company. It brings the whole experience of buying an electric car down massively when even Vauxhall have no power or sway over their installers. It's not like these vehicles are cheap either! Just avoid using PodPoint if you can. I will say though their electricians are fine, they do a solid job - when they turn up.

Extremely poor communication, number of cancelled appointment even once agreed appointment but nothing registered on their system. Installation as such has been fine. App is useless, does not bother me though. I am hoping 3 year warranty will be honoured. Price is ok.

My installation wasn't straightforward and I needed to arrange additional work. It was impossible to speak to anyone at Podpoint on the telephone. Very slow response to my emails and sometimes no response at all. A very bad experience.

2 aborted visits, incorrect ladders delivered twice, 3+ months delay and massive hike in cost at survey stage. Not recommended

Installer failed to route the cables where I required. I was on a work call and when he called me back outside to say he'd finished, I found he had routed them outside the garage wall in complete disregard to what I'd asked him to do. I'd asked him to put the cables on the inside of the garage wall which was open and free of any obstructions. I'd even showed him where they needed to go. Instead he ignored me and chose to put them on the outside wall and with cables crossing a mains gas pipe. It then took a considerable effort to get Pod Point back out to re-route them on the internal garage wall. They sent the same man back out and he had a big strop about doing it, tried to get me to change my mind and lied about me asking him to put them on the internal wall when he did the initial install. He then connected something incorrectly in the fusebox and my car wouldn't charge so had to get Pod Point back out to fix it. I insisted on a different installer this time. The whole experience was completely shoddy, bodged and unprofessional and I wouldn't touch pod again if they were the only home charger company available. I'd rather go back to an internal combustion engined car than deal with Pod Point again.

The installer was a very nice chap, very tidy, on time and the installations looks good. The reason for the one star is simple: the pod does not work… 😳

Terrible communication and customer service. No reply to emails and I had to ring you to get things moving. Took over 4 months from purchase to get it installed. With hindsight I would not choose PodPoint again.

it took months to receive a date for the installation, the same questions were asked that i supplied in the initial questionnaire, the unit was installed on the 19th of January when the car arrived on the 22nd December?

I recommend you look elsewhere for your Charging point. I purchased (my second) charging point from PodPoint in July 2020. I had moved house and left my previous charger at the previous property. The sales side of PodPoint is slick and efficient, but after taking my money I had to chivvy and push repeatedly to get the charger installed and even then waited 9 weeks until they delivered. When I then moved house they wanted £520 to move the charger - about 2x the going rate for the work required - but say they won’t honour the warranty for the actual charger if they don’t move it…. Now only just over 1 year since the charger was first installed, it has stopped working. Many emails and calls later, and 7 weeks on it is still not fixed. Imagine having a tough time to get petrol for 7 weeks. My conclusion is avoid this company.

Terrible customer support service. You pay everything upfront and it leaves you with no means of claiming absolutely anything. We have never experience this poor customer support, ever. They did not properly install the charger, then they cut the power to half to address the problem, and when the root cause was addressed the charger is inoperative again. 5 days since and no answer at all. Since they installed the charger we have spent 50% of the time charging at public chargers, which is not what you expect when you get an EV. Extremely dissapointing.

Paid over £1200 two months ago and still waiting for installation. 2 engineers arrived a couple of weeks ago, walked round the sucking teeth and havent heard anything from them since.
