“To support my son in preparing for his GCSE exams, I have booked revision sessions with PMT Education for maths and all three sciences. We received hard copies of the taught material a few days before the online sessions. The tutors, selected by PMT, shared their teaching experience with all students and delivered/taught/discussed the taught material online in an interactive way, with a class size of approximately 20. My son enjoyed all the sessions and feels they helped him revise key topics and provided an opportunity to practice grade 9 questions.
After the classes, all the tutors provided e-copies of the teaching materials along with solutions, additional supportive material, as well as video recordings of the taught sessions.
In my opinion, students would benefit more from these revision sessions if they had access to the teaching materials in advance, say a month or more. This would allow them to clear up any doubts with the tutor during the online sessions.”

While we understand the benefits of having access to the materials earlier, due to logistical and financial constraints, we are unable to send the materials a month in advance. However, for students who book before the print deadline, we do aim to deliver the materials a few days before the sessions to allow students to review and prepare themselves for the course. “The Biology Easter Revision classes were excellent, quite fast paced and quite interactive. My son was really impressed with the tutor, who was quite thorough as he went through the work book. He gave them less breaks than the chemistry tutor did which i was grateful for as it meant they were able to cover more over the 2 days an in essence obtain the best value for money. In comparison the chemistry teacher for the Easter Revision was not as detailed /thorough as the biology teacher.”

“I have had the privilege of working with PMT for many years and have always had a great experience with them. I have been part of the tutor team at several of their revision courses, both in person and online, and have always found their support to be excellent. The classrooms I have been provided with are well-equipped and the booklets provided for each course help structure my tuition. For the online courses, I am provided with an iPad and access to Google Classroom, along with technical support from PMT. These make my online tuition effective and students positively comment on the course structure and resources provided. After each course, I am asked for my feedback and this is used to tweak and improve for the future. I always feel that my feedback is valued and well-received, and is often evident in future improvements. PMT are always available by email or phone if I need last-minute help and on a personal level, they are very kind and supportive. Overall, I think PMT are excellent and cannot recommend them highly enough.”
