“It is a nice platform and easy access and gives security to students, however the payment is confusing as it takes the money 3 days before and seems very confusing when it comes to reviewing lessons and payments”
Hi Naeema, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We’re delighted to hear that you have had a positive experience on the platform, though I’m sorry to hear that you had some confusion with payment.
To clarify, we only take payment once a lesson has started. However, to guarantee payment to our tutors, we do carry out a card authorisation check up to 72 hours before the lesson begins. Depending on your bank, this authorisation may appear as if you have been charged.
This authorisation check is explained during the lesson booking process and in our confirmation emails. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch via our contact form. - Louie
“We were looking for a maths tutor for a 6 week boost before GCSEs and have been very happy with the outcome. Even at short notice there were a number of suitable tutors available for regular slots leading up to the exams. It was easy to shortlist tutors based on their availability, experience and suitability for my son with SEN. The tutor we selected has been excellent with my son and the sessions have improved his confidence and understanding by going through past papers and practising topics and exam techniques. The platform has been very easy to use - selecting teachers, booking slots, making payments, receiving feedback, posting work to the lesson and the online classroom format works well. We have been very happy and would recommend - even to those who have children with quite complex SEN.”
