“This is a brilliant platform, linking you to highly professional tutors! It is so easy to use, secure and really well thought through.
There are now numerous platforms and websites offering to connect you to thousands of tutors...it is like trying to find a needle in a haystack, trying to find the right tutor for your child. I have used several platforms over recent years and PMT is not only the best but the best value when seeking out highly experienced subject teachers. Also, you do not have to rely on luck to find the perfect match.
I have recommended them to lots of other parents looking for courses, resources or individual tuition for their children.
Despite all the experiences being online, the communication from the adminstration and support staff is very personalised, friendly and helpful. If you are struggling to sort anything or want some advice about selecting a tutor or a course, you can email them and you are guaranteed to receive a helpful reply. Can't fault their admin. staff. They will even chat to you on the phone and call you back directly. (They are definitely not bots!)
We have booked various GCSE revision courses and individual tuition for GSCEs and A level subjects, in the past. We are currently using the platform to co-ordinate A level Geography tuition and have our sessions timetabled, for the months ahead, with an incredibly good tutor who we are delighted to have found so easily! “Wonderful platform and very helpful with finding tutors. A lot of tutors tend to have to be found through contacts, and I was really struggling with my A-levels but I didn’t really want to pay really high fees for lessons that weren’t even specific to my exam board. PMT tuition really came in clutch here - I used PMT for the expansive resources, so I was delighted when I saw they offered tutors too! It was very straightforward finding a good match for my specific exam board, subject and price range!! “My daughter's review: I have found my tutoring sessions incredibly helpful. My tutor is flexible in lessons and we are able to jump quickly from topic to topic. He has immediate access to past paper or practice questions, some which he explains ,and some for which I try for myself. It has really helped me to renew knowledge that I have missed or forgotten, as we can have lessons just teaching, where he explains everything concisely, without lots of extra topics creeping in, like often happens at college. My tutor is also really helpful in that he sets me work, past papers or questions to try; this is very helpful as it gives an extra push to be productive and keep me motivated as he will check how I got on with the work set in the next lesson. He is also aware of my exam dates and plans accordingly what work I might need or topics we can quickly go over to confirm my knowledge or remind me of certain methods.”
