“I changed to Piper's farm a few months ago - I had become concerned about the quality and welfare of supermarket meat and I wanted to support the slow-grown British farming industry and be health-conscious myself. The meat is all top notch - the gammon joint yesterday was wonderful. The chicken is a million miles from supermarket mass produced, and the beef and lamb are delicious. We also love trying out different cheeses every month. The order always arrives on time and is very well packaged.”

“This was my first experience of ordering from Piper's Farm. Ordering and delivery were simple and easy to negotiate on the website. Everything arrived in good condition. The Taw River milk is fabulous. I just wish I lived closer so that I could have it every week! I haven't tried any meat yet but the marmalade is great and the pickled cucumber is delicious. I am cooking the chicken tonight and looking forward to it. Overall, I am very impressed with everything about Piper's Farm.”

“I have been ordering my meat from Pipers Farm for a 4 months now and I won't buy meat from anywhere else. Absolutely nothing out there that compares. All the meat comes packaged really thoughtfully in eco packaging and wool to keep it cool. The meat is more money from 'supermarket' meat but it feels good to eat meat that is nutritional and grass fed... I will never go back to touching supermarket meat again! “The meat ( a small rolled sirloin) was quite dry and I was surprised that date of freezing was April 2023 so it was over 7 months old. Normally meat is recommended to be frozen for 3 months. Not sure I would order some more unless it was a bit ‘younger’.”

Hi Giles, I am terribly sorry for the confusion, the date on the date is the best before date, which is 6 months after the delivery date and not the date of freezing. In regard to the the Sirloin being dry, please do contact our Customer Care team who will be happy to look into this further for you. “I was told that my order could not be delivered. On tryingt o re-arrange a delivery was told it ocul dnot be done so in time to fulfil my entertainment needs which I had planned. As such I requrested to cancel the order. I was pretty dissaopinted.”

“High quality, easy to store and cook, good ethics, we need to support local or UK produce for home food security and quality. Keep the ingredients to what we use at home in all items and it's good to go (no msg in pies etc). I'm pleased sausages do not have nitrites.”

“This website is great to order from. Each section is easy to look through and add to the basket. My last order was for smoked gammon steaks and they are so tasty. The duck is in the freezer ready for Christmas. I like that I can pick the day to have items delivered and they are well packaged - even the packaging can all be recycled. I use the wool as insulation for my plants during the cold weather.”
