“I ordered Venison and lamb for over the Xmas period, it arrived when expected and had an added bonus for our cats!! The packaging was wool and instead of putting it out for recycling, we have made it into a lovely warm bed for our older cats. Delivery was on the day requested and at the time indicated by the courier.”

“Shocking customer service currently on day 4, still cannot get hold of anyone and had no response. Turkey turned up 2 days late and was left down a warm alleyway. Worst customer service experienced, just will not respond to emails, phone calls or live help. Joke”

“I've bought Christmas meat and cheeses fron Pipers for 2 years and it's always been the highest quality, delivered when you ask for it to be, never late and with top quality packaging. The meat tastes like you remember it used to. The free range cockerel and the mutton are the stars for me. The cheeses will be lucky to make it till Christmas day.”

“I emailed to say I was dissapointed as almost no fat on my Gammon Ham delivered so couldn't do a proper glazed Ham for xmas. Respone came really fast, fab service! Cooked my Gammon Ham today with orange marmalade glaze and the meat was Yummeee, not too salty and lots of flavour. Thank you!”

“Originally the delivery date was TUESDAY 20th then advised it would be WEDNESDAY 21st between 11.34 -12.34 then advised after 2 hours of deciphering DPD'S tracking service it was out for delivery, then THURSDAY'S 22nd email from DPD stating that they were expecting my parcel shortly at the Gloucester Depot, but no actual delivery date or time was given, nor were there any options to amend the delivery details as my office is now closed for Christmas. I've used DPD'S live chat service who asked whether I'd like the order returned, but they can't authorise it as that instruction has to come from Piper I've rung Pipers Farm Office 3 times and the automated service apologises for the lack of personal service, but they are very busy and clearly are inadequately staffed for the Christmas period. ( ok I made the last bit up but come on get your act together.) So Conclusion A. Is that the Tuesday and Wednesday advised delivery dates and times were pure fabricated lies. Conclusion B. The Thursday delivery date was as fabricated from as thin air as conclusion A was. Conclusion C. If the order fish had been "on the road" since Tuesday it would now be rotten. And Conclusion D. I would strongly advise any potential purchaser from this company to sensibly reconsider spending money with them as either they are woefully inept at online trading or theyre quite used to the chaos they inflict on customers and couldn't care less. Anyone got any spare goose ???”

“Wonderful service and great products. All cheese arrived safely and the "best before dates" were excellent. Will definitely use Pipers Farm again. This is such a difference from another producer we used last month. We have to say that the Solstice cheese is one of the best we have tasted - and we lived in France for twenty years.”
