My order arrived 4 days before Christmas mostly defrosted - I didn't know what to do, as everyone said you shouldn't refreeze turkey etc. I tried ringing to ask for advice - there was no answer and message said to leave a message and they will get back to you - I did this a couple of times as no one got back to me. I also sent an email with no response. I was so worried about poisoning my Christmas guests! Very poor customer service. Still not heard back from anyone!

My order was delivered 21st December and items missing. I am very disappointed, firstly because it was requested especially by my mother-in-law and secondly because it is the first time I have ordered from this company. The 1kg Beet (unbeknown to me at first because the joint arrived frozenl joint bag was punctured, by the time i realised the beef had turned dark brown in colour. Therefore for I decided not to use and binned it. I spent £132 (£42 on a 1kg beef joint) cheeees and a few other bits. Very overpriced for vacpacked products. Sent emails and made numerous phone calls (just an automated message) I will not purchase from this company again.

Awful customer service over the chromates period, I had a problem with my order, was ringing them for days, just a recorded message to say they would get back to me but nothing, emailed them, no response. Won’t be using again.

Usually great but terrible experience with Christmas Turkey

Our meat (turkey crown) arrived over a day late - it was warm to the touch and the ice bags had fully melted. We had to throw it away and buy another from the supermarket. I called the Pipers farm line to complain on the day it arrived and also a day later. Despite leaving my contact numbers so far nobody has called or emailed. Not happy with this ‘service’ at all.

Not impressed. Delivery arrived just outside the 48hr slot !!. I tried emailing and phoning you regarding safety of freezing items and then defrosting to eat on Christmas day but no response . I went ahead and froze the items and then Christmas eve started to defrost the chicken in fridge . On Christmas day it was put in oven under your advised instructions for 2,kg chicken. 1 hr 20 min. After 2 hours it still wasn't cooked. We tried carving it and the meat still pink. We were put off by this and because of how long it took for me to receive items. 2 days late the chicken went in the bin. We didn't want the risk of food poisoning. I would have expected a better customer service as I am a loyal customer, I really are unsure whether to order from you again. I know it has been unusual circumstances but I think you could have been more honest regarding delivery .

I have not received my Christmas delivery: I was assured would arrive today 23rd December. The farm is now closed till Wednesday: enjoy your Christmas as I am left running around to find food! Appalling customer services! Phone switched off not replying to emails. It is not the couriers issue it is the company’s which have let people down

Shocking customer service currently on day 4, still cannot get hold of anyone and had no response. Turkey turned up 2 days late and was left down a warm alleyway. Worst customer service experienced, just will not respond to emails, phone calls or live help. Joke

Originally the delivery date was TUESDAY 20th then advised it would be WEDNESDAY 21st between 11.34 -12.34 then advised after 2 hours of deciphering DPD'S tracking service it was out for delivery, then THURSDAY'S 22nd email from DPD stating that they were expecting my parcel shortly at the Gloucester Depot, but no actual delivery date or time was given, nor were there any options to amend the delivery details as my office is now closed for Christmas. I've used DPD'S live chat service who asked whether I'd like the order returned, but they can't authorise it as that instruction has to come from Piper I've rung Pipers Farm Office 3 times and the automated service apologises for the lack of personal service, but they are very busy and clearly are inadequately staffed for the Christmas period. ( ok I made the last bit up but come on get your act together.) So Conclusion A. Is that the Tuesday and Wednesday advised delivery dates and times were pure fabricated lies. Conclusion B. The Thursday delivery date was as fabricated from as thin air as conclusion A was. Conclusion C. If the order fish had been "on the road" since Tuesday it would now be rotten. And Conclusion D. I would strongly advise any potential purchaser from this company to sensibly reconsider spending money with them as either they are woefully inept at online trading or theyre quite used to the chaos they inflict on customers and couldn't care less. Anyone got any spare goose ???

I would love to write a good review but sadly I can't. I have as yet to receive my parcel from DPD. All it says is that it's in their warehouse. I spoke to you about this earlier in the week but nothing happened. I tried to ring again but your phone line is blocked. I left voice messages, and yesterday I left an email. I've heard nothing back. Very poor customer service. I appreciate it is busy and DPD are doing extra deliveries BUT I placed my order for delivery on Monday some time ago. I've ordered items on Monday which were delivered this morning by DHL. I am concerned about the condition of the gammon I ordered ( if it ever arrives) so much so I've bought one from M&S this morning. I'm sure it won't be as good as yours but I can't take the chance. I'd also like the Perry and organic ale I ordered. Not quite

Sadly, all of my large Christmas order inc my turkey, Christmas pudding etc etc never arrived, and communication was very poor when trying to establish what what going on. I’m now left with no Christmas food. When I finally got through to speak to someone, all I get is an apology, no offer to send again, a voucher as an apology etc. I will never use Pipers Farm again.

Christmas delivery due today, DPD email that they are expecting a package but no tracking information arrives. Website says they are very busy but no information. Only when I check Twitter do I see there is a huge issue between them and DPD and it seems my package isn't going to be delivered. Really poor communications by Pipers Farm. I'm now looking for replacement Christmas food.

We were due our Christmas delivery from Pipers Farm on 20/12. DPD didn't deliver it. I fully understand the courier systems are swamped and that customer service for Pipers will be too, but after 2 days of trying to get into contact with Pipers Farm I have received no help at all. The Customer Service has been non-existant/not contactable. DPD have also been no help in getting back to us either. So, even if delivered now it will not be safe (an extra 48hours+ for perishable poultry and pork) to eat. Since Pipers Farm aren't replying to phone calls and emails I have no way of finding out if they are resending it or issuing a refund so I can make alternative food arrangements.

Order was not delivered on the day it was scheduled, I was only informed after emailing and phoning that there was a delay and would not be delivered until the following day. Order did not arrive the following day either. I was provided tracking information that was incorrect for my order. I have now requested a refund.

The order did not come. It was not delivered. I have emailed twice and called to get a refund but no one has got back to me and it is now 7 days since the due delivery date. It is a shame as I have used them before and the meat is good. I wanted this for Christmas and now I am stuck and out of pocket £125 with no refund.

The delivery did not arrive on the day, which was due to DPD but not great support and communication in managing that so we had a day and a half at home awaiting the delivery. We got given the delivery refunded and a £10 voucher, not a very substantial apology. Great quality meat but a shame about this service.
