“We ordered a premium lay flat wedding album and are delighted with the finished product. We chose to design the album ourselves, and the four rather than five star rating reflects the fact that the software system made it difficult at times to customise layouts and align images precisely. We managed to achieve what we wanted in the end, and PikPerfect were very helpful throughout, but the software made it quite a laborious process. That said, the finished album is lovely and appears to be of a very high quality - and at a very reasonable cost compared to that quoted by our wedding photographer.”

“I love the photos and the book is beautiful and well made, the only thing I did not think was worth it was the box. It comes open very easy and is really flimsy there is not very strong magnets that barely keep it together. I wish I would have looked elsewhere for a box that latches and for the amount asked I feel like this should be more well made. I do not recommend getting the box but the photo book is fantastic and old recommend this.”

“I ordered the 12x12 layflat album and the quality is incredible. Pages are very thick and the book is heavy (I used about 280 photos). If you're like me and struggle with creativity, I highly recommend using a designer. It's very easy to provide feedback and we worked together to switch up color and black-and-white photos, create two-page spreads, and switch out photos. The only reason I didn't rate 5 stars is because the designer wasn't very communicative, and never answered my questions about font options and different covers. Regardless, I love the final product!”

“If getting help is your goal, PikPerfect reviews the photos you submit, narrows them down, and then you have the option to add back or change as you wish. Once the album is placed, you don't have the option to move photos in order. Everything at that point is pasting a comment- an instruction. They also don't crop out distracting areas of photos, so what you load is what you get. For a parents wedding album, I did 7 versions until it was how I wanted it. If you appreciate a more hands-off approach, this is for you. Album result is quality. I was pleased with the photos, cover, and binding. Overall, I paid for that help in the price.”

Hi Julie, Thank you for your feedback. Just to clarify: we do crop and zoom into photos, but it also depends on the design you choose. For example, if you have two portrait images on a page and you want to crop out something distracting at the top, we might need to convert these into square images if the original is closely cropped. This often comes down to personal preference - just let your designer know which option you prefer, and they'll always be happy to adjust the design for you. Best regards, Nick

“PikPerfect did a great job designing my album once my designer figured out what I wanted. Because of the major time change and busy time of year communication could take time. There were a couple mistakes made but they were resolved as soon as they could get to them. Overall, I would recommend them. My husband really enjoyed our album, and I enjoyed have someone else design it.”

“I had some initial problems with communications about progress of my order. However, once they realised the issues they made absolutely sure the delivery arrived safely and the album is absolutely amazing. I am useless manipulating images. I just gave them a whole selection from the wedding and they made a brilliant job of ordering them to tell the story of the day. Despite the initial problems, I would recommend them again.”

“Es war eine gute Erfahrung und würde sie wieder in Betracht ziehen. Für das Fotobuch (ca. 350 Fotos) war die gelieferte Holzbox zu klein, die Magnetverschlüsse hatten nicht richtig Kontakt und die Funktion des Verschluss somit wertlos. Beim Verarbeitungsprozess hätten wir 1-2 Runden sparen können, wenn die genannten Änderungen entsprechend umgesetzt worden wären (evtl. Sprachbarriere?). Ansonsten bin ich sehr zufrieden mit dem Resultat. Besten Dank.”
