“I was looking for a wedding album for a client on a budget (£100-£120) and found that PikPerfect offered lay flat albums within this price range. I was attracted to the offer of new customers getting up to 25% off the first album design. What I didn't realise was that this literally refers to the cost of designing of the album, something that PikPefect do by default rather than expecting the customer to upload a design. I was a little disappointed to discover that this attractive-sounding offer saved me £4.50. In terms of the design service itself, I found myself having to repeat myself numerous times and discovering that some changes had been made that I hadn't stated. One the album had arrived, I was somewhat underwhelmed by the appearance and quality of the album. Despite being printed on 370gsm paper, the pages felt thin and flimsy. It didn't look much better than standard photo books you get printed at a fraction of the cost. I have to say I was a little embarrassed giving this album to the clients. I wasn't expecting premium quality at this price bracket, but I've bought far superior albums before for only slightly more money. I won't be ordering a wedding album from PikPefect again. Perhaps a cheap photo book, but nothing more. Regards, Ross”

Hi Ross, I'm sorry our service did not meet your expectations. The paper thickness for layflat albums is an industry standard when using real photo paper - we have printed thousands of these for couples as well as professional photographers, 99% of whom love them. If you're looking for thick cardboard pages, I would recommend ordering a flushmount album the next time. Hope that helps. Kind regards, Nick

Hi James, I'm sorry you found our prices confusing. To make them transparent they are listed both on our website as well as below every album draft you receive - all prices are fixed and do not change during the design process. If you have a question or doubt about something, please feel free to get in touch with your designer before purchase; they are always happy to help explain or change to an album that may better fit your budget. “ordered from NY and was very pleased with the wedding album I ordered. There is great customer service; the designer was very responsive by email. I really liked the fact I could go through multiple rounds of edits for the layout and order of the photos. The final product looked great & I was able to easily reorder a smaller copy for family members a few months later.”

“Wow - what a great way to do an Album -I have done many of my own - Creating your own Album normally takes longer than the pictures. Not any more! “PikPerfect was wonderful to work with. I sent a huge amount of pictures and description and asked them to put it together. They gave me a first draft. I made lots of changes and each day they instituted the changes and over the course of maybe 10 days we put together a beautiful album for my daughter and new son-in-law. I ordered the large Photobook and the quality of the paper and the photos and the script I had added was wonderful. I would not recommend any other company but PikPerfect for a high quality wedding album. Allow extra time if you are in the US due to time zone difference. It was totally worth it.”

“I loved almost everything about the service that I received with PikPerfect - I was feeling overwhelmed about setting up my own wedding album and the design service made creating the book easy, with really quick turn arounds for revisions and a fully interactive online version of the album that had me so looking forward to receiving the finished product and allowed for me to share with friends and family to get their feedbacks! I've now ordered and received the album and it's beautiful!!! The quality is lovely and the album is just as I imagined it (if not a bit bigger than I was expecting, but that's my fault). Can't fault the quality and will look forward to using this as a family heirloom for years to come. My only feedback is that once I had ordered the album, I received an invoice and then radio silence for 8 working days until the album arrived. I felt a bit worried that I might have been ripped off as I did try to contact the company in a number of ways - so as an overall feedback, some communication post ordering would be wonderful as it really adds to the buildup of receiving the finished product (something really simple like album printing, packaging, sending, etc). Overall, the above has certainly not detracted from the experience and I will be planning on using this service for many other albums to come! Will mark down one star for this, but otherwise top marks all around! Thank you so much PikPerfect!!!”

“The wedding album PikPerfect made for us was better quality than what our photographers were going to make for us and was thousands of dollars less! Yes, I said thousands! Photographers charge so much to make a wedding album that PikPerfect makes for a couple hundred. We could not be happier with our album. We chose to use the design services as well and that saved me so much time and effort. PikPerfect sends you drafts every time you ask the to make a change so you know it will be perfect by the time they send it to you. I will definitely be using PikPerfect again for future occasions.”
