Established in 2000 in the Isle of Man, we specialise in optical, photographic and digital accessories and offer a wide range of products such as telescopes, binoculars, weather stations, trail cameras, camera accessories, USB flash drives, memory cards, and much more but with a particular focus in photography & computing.

PicStop is 100% online, we have no retail outlets but have warehouses in the UK & Isle of Man, we offer our products for sale across a number of marketplace channels and of course our own website where you can normally find the best rate for a product.

“Ordered on a Thursday, was told the memory card was posted on the Friday, I received it the following Saturday. Now the strange thing is on the package it says Royal Mail 48 so either it wasn’t posted when said or Royal Mail held on to it for nearly a week. The price for the card was excellent but the delivery time in this day and age was poor.”

Sorry to hear this didn't arrive a little sooner, although it did arrive within the 5-7 working day service you chose regardless of the Royal Mail service we used. The order was delivered after 6 working days, which we agree it very slow, apologies for that.

No memory card or flash drive would give you the exact advertised amount, the reason is the calculation of the bytes and the space used for file management. Approximately 29GB for a 32GB memory is the correct use-able / available capacity, you can find an explanation on the back of the retail packaging you received. “So far it works fine with most of my memory cards i have tried with one exception it does not read Fuji CF Cards,i only have one of these!”

There is no reason for the reader not to work with a particular brand of memory card, it could be a compatibility issue. We didn't receive any contact from this customer, just multiple poor feedback.

“Although providing the products ordered at a competitive price was achieved, how it was accomplished raised several eyebrows when the postman arrived at our house. Six identical microSD cards were bought in one order. Six large padded jiffy bags arrived on the same postal delivery, each containing one microSD card. What a waste of money and resources! Firstly, we are supposed to be making efforts to save our environment and secondly, all that unnecessary cost incurred could either be saved by you to make better profits or passed onto the customer to make you even more competitive. It did not leave a perception of your business as being effective and efficient.”

“Ordered a Micro SDXC card, good product at a reasonable price, easy ordering and payment method. However this good service from PicStop was let down by an atrocious delivery service. 25 days in total before finally receiving the replacement.”

We apologise for the delay with this delivery, the order shipped on time on a TRACKED SERVICE (picked up from our warehouse by Royal Mail). Royal Mail appear to have unfortunately lost / mis-routed a batch of our mail shipped after the May 6th bank holiday. The original order was replaced and that package finally arrived nine working days after the latest day the original shipment should have.

“Ordered an SD card after 3 weeks if failed to arrive. Contacted PicStop who advised Royal mail had lost a batch of items and they have now posted again so awaiting delivery.”

Please accept our apologies for the issue with this delivery. Unfortunately it appears that a batch of our mail from around the bank holiday weekend (May 6th 2019) may have been lost / mis-routed whilst in the care of Royal Mail. All customers affected by this issue have been refunded or had a replacement shipped as this customer did.

The website and product specifications do not state the model ordered is Bluetooth compatible. (Sport PLUS model is Bluetooth)

“I bought two sd cards. Needed them for the cctv cameras which needed to be fully installed before 3 weeks holiday. Price was cheaper comparing to Amazon by £5/each and this has decided to purchase cards from PicStop. First I haven't noticed that PicStop is dispatching items in the separate packages. Based on this when I received my first card (approx. 3 working days) I was worried where is my second card. Then I was waiting a week before the second card arrived. This has shrinked my installation time to minimum which wasn't ideal. So generally speaking PicStop service it's worth a trust but based on my waiting time experience I would prefer to pay a bit more and get tem from Amazon with Prime One Day delivery.”

Customer chose a Free Delivery - 4-10 working day service, and as confirmed the complete order arrived well within this estimate. We did make the customer aware that the items would ship separately in more than one instance. We also could ship on a next day delivery for a further £10 (saving made against Amazon prices)

“I ordered an SD card for my old camera. the card would not work as it was a 64mb so I had to order two 32 mb cards, my fault on balance but the information on site could have been better. Pic stop were not that happy at the return as the card was taken out of the packing. Now as far as I am concerned if manufacturers want to encase a postage size card in half a ton of sealed packaging then what can they expect? I returned the card at my cost and Pic Stop refunded so good for Pic stop as they could have refused. If I had the correct card first time, would have been 4 star. Not 5 star as the delivery is a bit long winded.”

We do have a memory checker on our website, it enables you to search for the device you have (camera) and see a list of compatible memory cards. We had no issue at all in accepting the return back, as per the law and message on our returns page - PicStop provide a 14 day Money Back Guarantee on all products purchased, allowing you to purchase from us with confidence The packaging for the product in question is in our opinion actually quite minimal and definitely less than other manufacturers. As you may appreciate, if a customer simply orders the wrong product we would expect them to pay return postage if they require a refund. If the product had been faulty we would have supplied a Free Post address. Regarding the delivery, this was shipped on time with Royal Mail (tracked) and arrived within the chosen delivery estimate after 4 working days, although a 4-10 working day service was chosen. It seems s little bit harsh that we have been left with low feedback even though all the information required was available on the website and the delivery arrived on time.
