“We had a lovely couple of days at Mill End. Firstly, the food was excellent! Beautifully presented, interesting combinations and tasted great. Fantastic service, even though they were short staffed one evening, nothing was too much trouble. We had our dog, so we ate breakfast and one evening in The Reading room. Lovely surroundings, Chagford is only a short drive away. I would happily return.”

“Lady who booked our hotel was very helpful and found us a lovely alternative when our chosen one wasn't available. However, whilst the Old Swan hotel in Harrogate was dog friendly, dogs were only allowed in the bedroom or bar. Also, there was no bed,(we were told about the bed), no water bowls, treats, sausage for breakfast, nothing at all, rather disappointing, as this is something we expected booking through pets pyjamas. On the last night, i saw a leaflet in reception saying we could scan a bar code and be sent a key card meaning we could claim all sorts as above, but not until we came on another visit. When i complained we hadn't been told of this in advance, the receptionist did give me a small bag of treats. This is the reason i gave 4 not 5 stars.”

“Used for the first time today. Absolutely excellent getting the accomadating we required booked. Spoke to a Maria Whitehead who could not do enough in getting everything booked. Very proactive and kept us fully informed. Fingers crossed the hotel is as good as Pets Pyjamas. Will be using for future bookings when taking our dog.”

“I’d never used this website before so it was a bit of a learning curve. Whilst it initially seemed fairly easy to navigate, I found the filters a bit too restrictive - eg to me the areas are a bit too generalised and I would have liked to select more than one area. The other point I’d like to make …. (although it could well be that I’m not using it correctly!) I wanted to search for dates first - then filter the areas. Is that already possible? If not - perhaps it could be arranged? Sometimes we don’t know quite where we want to go - we just want to be tempted by a nice looking doggie friendly hotel/pub and then plan from there. Last comment - I would have liked an immediate email receipt showing what I could see on the website, with a proviso that it was only a booking reference and confirmation would follow soon having confirmed with the hotel. Even though I’d got a booking reference number on the website, there was no sort of “thank you - your request has been received” message, so I still wasn’t sure it had been successfully booked until the following morning when I was told the hotel had confirmed it. Anyway they’re just my own observations and comments. The concept is excellent and I will certainly try using it again.”

“Very disappointing. My very first booking and they made a mistake with the accommodation. Reading between the lines, they'd offered me something at a lower rate than it should be. Trying to find alternative accommodation, they offered us a first floor apartment, which as we have a dog, wasn't what we were looking for, and it was more expensive. Then finally, something which was another 55 minutes drive and nothing like what we were looking for! I know mistakes happen, but this was frustrating as a first time customer. I had already paid the deposit, and they had the audacity to say they wouldn't charge me a fee for returning it! It would be unlikely that we book with PetsPyjamas in the future, which is a shame.”

“Absolutely amazing lodge and holiday park. We had the most fantastic stay . Please be aware to access the parks bars , pool and facilities you must purchase passes . We were not aware so came at a surprise cost whilst here .”

“Always a pleasure booking with petspyjamas concierge team very good on giving you the best booking experience for your needs. Hotels are probably the best for your fury friends as you can always dine with your dog if you want to which is a big bonus. Highly recommend this company.”
